ਅਪੁਨੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੀ ਹਉ ਚੇਰੀ ॥
apunē thākur kī hau chērī .
I am the hand-maiden of my Lord and Master.
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਿਉ ਰਹੀਐ ਦੁਖੁ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥
har bin kiu rahīai dukh biāpai .
How can I survive without the Lord? I am suffering in pain.
ਦੂਰਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਮੇਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
dūr nāhī mērō prabh piārā .
My Beloved Lord God is not far away.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
har kē sant janā kī ham dhūr .
I am the dust of the feet of the humble Saints of the Lord.
ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਚਰਨਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
gōbind charanan kau balihārī .
I am a sacrifice to the Feet of the Lord of the Universe.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
har har anmrit nām dēh piārē .
O my Beloved Lord, Har, Har, please bless me with Your Ambrosial Name.
ਗੋਬਿਦ ਕੀ ਐਸੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
gōbid kī aisī kār kamāi .
This is the way to work for the Lord.
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੀ ॥
mērā man rām nām man mānī .
My mind is pleased and appeased by the Name of the Lord.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੜ੍ਹੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
jap man rām nām parh sār .
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, and study His Excellence.
ਕਾਹੇ ਪੂਤ ਝਗਰਤ ਹਉ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਾਪ ॥
kāhē pūt jhagarat hau sang bāp .
O son, why do you argue with your father?
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ਜਗਦੀਸਰੋ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੋ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕ ਸਭ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਸਭ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jap man jagannāth jagadīsarō jagajīvanō manamōhan siu prīt lāgī mai har har har tēk sabh dinas sabh rāt .1. rahāu .
O my mind, meditate on the Lord of the World, the Master of the Universe, the Life of the World, the Enticer of the mind; fall in love with Him. I take the Support of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, all day and all night. ||1||Pause||

jap man mādhō madhusūdanō har srīrangō paramēsarō sat paramēsarō prabh antarajāmī .
O my mind, meditate on the Lord, the Lord of Wealth, the Source of Nectar, the Supreme Lord God, the True Transcendent Being, God, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਭਉ ॥
jap man nirabhau .
O my mind, meditate on the Fearless Lord,
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jap man gōvind har gōvind gunī nidhān sabh srisat kā prabhō mērē man har bōl har purakh abināsī .1. rahāu .
O my mind, meditate on the Lord of the Universe, the Lord, the Lord of the Universe, the Treasure of Virtue, the God of all creation. O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, the Lord, the Eternal, Imperishable, Primal Lord God. ||1||Pause||
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
jap man sirī rām .
O my mind, meditate on the Supreme Lord.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਿਆਸ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਕੀ ਸਫਲ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਕਦਿ ਪਾਂਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
antar piās chātrik jiu jal kī saphal darasan kad pānhu .1. rahāu .
My inner being is filled with a great thirst, like that of the song-bird for water. When shall I find the Fruitful Vision of His Darshan? ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਨ ॥
har jīu antarajāmī jān .
The Dear Lord is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
ਅਬ ਮੋਰੋ ਨਾਚਨੋ ਰਹੋ ॥
ab mōrō nāchanō rahō .
Now, my dancing is over.
ਅਬ ਪੂਛੇ ਕਿਆ ਕਹਾ ॥
ab pūshē kiā kahā .
Now if he is asked, what can he say?
ਮਾਈ ਧੀਰਿ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਬਿਰਾਗਿਓ ॥
māī dhīr rahī pri bahut birāgiō .
O mother, my patience is gone. I am in love with my Husband Lord.
ਮਾਈ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਾਧਾ ॥
māī sat sat sat har sat sat sat sādhā .
O mother, True, True True is the Lord, and True, True, True is His Holy Saint.
ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਬਾਸਿਬੋ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥
mērai man bāsibō gur gōbind .
The Guru, the Lord of the Universe, dwells within my mind.
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਭਰੋਸਉ ਪਾਏ ॥
ab mōh rām bharōsau pāē .
Now, I have obtained the Support of the Lord.
ਓੁਇ ਸੁਖ ਕਾ ਸਿਉ ਬਰਨਿ ਸੁਨਾਵਤ ॥
ōi sukh kā siu baran sunāvat .
Who can I tell, and with whom can I speak, about this state of peace and bliss?
ਬਿਖਈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਇਵ ਹੀ ਗੁਦਾਰੈ ॥
bikhaī din rain iv hī gudārai .
The corrupt person passes his days and nights uselessly.
ਅਵਰਿ ਸਭਿ ਭੂਲੇ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਨ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
avar sabh bhūlē bhramat n jāniā .
All the others are deluded by doubt; they do not understand.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਕਹੀਐ ॥
anadin rām kē gun kahīai .
Night and day, utter the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਚਰਨ ॥
balihārī guradēv charan .
I am a sacrifice to the Feet of the Divine Guru.
ਗਾਇਓ ਰੀ ਮੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
gāiō rī mai gun nidh mangal gāiō .
I sing, O I sing the Songs of Joy of my Lord, the Treasure of Virtue.
ਕੈਸੇ ਕਹਉ ਮੋਹਿ ਜੀਅ ਬੇਦਨਾਈ ॥
kaisē kahau mōh jī bēdanāī .
How can I express the pain of my soul?
ਰੇ ਮੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਤੂ ਕਿਉ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅਬ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
rē mūrhē tū kiu simarat ab nāhī .
You fool, why are you not meditating on the Lord now?
ਕਿਉ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਾਈ ॥
kiu jīvan prītam bin māī .
How can I live without my Beloved, O my mother?
ਉਆ ਅਉਸਰ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
uā ausar kai hau bal jāī .
I am a sacrifice to that occasion.
ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਆਪਿ ॥
manōrath pūrē satigur āp .
The True Guru fulfills the mind's desires.
ਮਨ ਕਹਾ ਲੁਭਾਈਐ ਆਨ ਕਉ ॥
man kahā lubhāīai ān kau .
O my mind, why are you lured away by otherness?
ਮਨ ਸਦਾ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗਾਇ ॥
man sadā mangal gōbind gāi .
O my mind, sing forever the Songs of Joy of the Lord of the Universe.
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਸਗਲ ਉਧਾਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਕੇ ॥
har jan sagal udhārē sang kē .
The Lord's humble servant saves those who accompany him.
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਧਿਆਂਏ ॥
har jan rām rām rām dhiānhē .
The humble servant of the Lord meditates on the Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam.
ਮੋਹਨ ਘਰਿ ਆਵਹੁ ਕਰਉ ਜੋਦਰੀਆ ॥
mōhan ghar āvah karau jōdarīā .
O my Fascinating Lord, I pray to You: come into my house.
ਅਬ ਕਿਆ ਸੋਚਉ ਸੋਚ ਬਿਸਾਰੀ ॥
ab kiā sōchau sōch bisārī .
Now what should I think? I have given up thinking.
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਉਪਾਵ ਬਿਰਕਾਤੇ ॥
ab mōh sarab upāv birakātē .
Now I have abandoned all efforts and devices.
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਲਬਧਿਓ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕਾ ॥
ab mōh labadhiō hai har tēkā .
Now I have found the Support of my Lord.
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਏਕੈ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਮਾਂਗੈ ॥
mērā man ēkai hī pri mānhgai .
My mind longs for the One Beloved Lord.
ਅਬ ਮੋਰੋ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਾਂ ॥
ab mōrō thākur siu man mānānh .
Now my mind is pleased and appeased by my Lord and Master.
ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਏ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗਾ ॥
mērai man chīt āē pri rangā .
The Love of my Beloved comes into my conscious mind.
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥
har jīu kē darasan kau kurabānī .
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of my Dear Lord.
ਅਬ ਮੇਰੋ ਪੰਚਾ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੁ ਤੂਟਾ ॥
ab mērō panchā tē sang tūtā .
Now my association with the five thieves has come to an end.
ਅਬ ਮੇਰੋ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਲੀਨਾ ॥
ab mērō thākur siu man līnā .
Now my mind is absorbed in my Lord and Master.
ਮੋਹਨ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਤਾਰਹਿ ॥
mōhan sabh jī tērē tū tārah .
O my Enticing Lord, all beings are Yours - You save them.
