ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik ōunkār satigur prasād .
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
har kē sant janā kī ham dhūr .
I am the dust of the feet of the humble Saints of the Lord.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mil satasangat param pad pāiā ātam rām rahiā bharapūr .1. rahāu .
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have obtained the supreme status. The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is all-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਕਾਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
satigur sant milai sānht pāīai kilavikh dukh kātē sabh dūr .
Meeting the Saintly True Guru, I have found peace and tranquility. Sins and painful mistakes are totally erased and taken away.
ਆਤਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਭਈ ਪਰਫੂਲਿਤ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
ātam jōt bhaī paraphūlit purakh niranjan dēkhiā hajūr .1.
The Divine Light of the soul radiates forth, gazing upon the Presence of the Immaculate Lord God. ||1||
ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
vadai bhāg satasangat pāī har har nām rahiā bharapūr .
By great good fortune, I have found the Sat Sangat; the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is all-prevading everywhere.
ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਕੀਆ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਨਾਏ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੨॥
athasath tīrath majan kīā satasangat pag nāē dhūr .2.
I have taken my cleansing bath at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, bathing in the dust of the feet of the True Congregation. ||2||
ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਮਲੀਨ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਛੀ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਕੁਸੁਧੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਮੋਹ ਕੂਰੁ ॥
duramat bikār malīn mat hōshī hiradā kusudh lāgā mōh kūr .
Evil-minded and corrupt, filthy-minded and shallow, with impure heart, attached to enticement and falsehood.
ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰਮਾ ਕਿਉ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਆਪਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਝੂਰਿ ॥੩॥
bin karamā kiu sangat pāīai haumai biāp rahiā man jhūr .3.
Without good karma, how can I find the Sangat? Engrossed in egotism, the mortal remains stuck in regret. ||3||
ਹੋਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਾਗਉ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
hōh daiāl kripā kar har jī māgau satasangat pag dhūr .
Be kind and show Your Mercy, O Dear Lord; I beg for the dust of the feet of the Sat Sangat.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰਾਮੁ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥
nānak sant milai har pāīai jan har bhētiā rām hajūr .4.1.
O Nanak, meeting with the Saints, the Lord is attained. The Lord's humble servant obtains the Presence of the Lord. ||4||1||
