ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik ōunkār satigur prasād .
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਮਨ ਕਹਾ ਲੁਭਾਈਐ ਆਨ ਕਉ ॥
man kahā lubhāīai ān kau .
O my mind, why are you lured away by otherness?
ਈਤ ਊਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਜੀਅ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਮ ਕਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
īt ūt prabh sadā sahāī jī sang tērē kām kau .1. rahāu .
Here and hereafter, God is forever your Help and Support. He is your soul-mate; He will help you succeed. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਇਹੈ ਅਘਾਵਨ ਪਾਂਨ ਕਉ ॥
anmrit nām pri prīt manōhar ihai aghāvan pānhn kau .
The Name of your Beloved Lover, the Fascinating Lord, is Ambrosial Nectar. Drinking it in, you shall find satisfaction.
ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਹੈ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਠਾਹਰ ਨੀਕੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਉ ॥੧॥
akāl mūrat hai sādh santan kī thāhar nīkī dhiān kau .1.
The Being of Immortal Manifestation is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Meditate on Him in that most sublime place. ||1||
ਬਾਣੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖਨ ਕੀ ਮਨਹਿ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਮਾਂਨ ਕਉ ॥
bānī mantr mahā purakhan kī manah utāran mānhn kau .
The Bani, the Word of the Supreme Lord God, is the greatest Mantra of all. It eradicates pride from the mind.
ਖੋਜਿ ਲਹਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਥਾਨਾਂ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ਕਉ ॥੨॥੧॥੨੦॥
khōj lahiō nānak sukh thānānh har nāmā bisrām kau .2.1.20.
Searching, Nanak found the home of peace and bliss in the Name of the Lord. ||2||1||20||
