ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਲਾਲਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਸਰਬਾਂਗੈ ॥
gun nidhān manamōhan lālan sukhadāī sarabānhgai .
The Treasure of Virtue, the Enticer of the mind, my Beloved is the Giver of peace to all.
ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਹਿ ਪਠਾਇਓ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਸਖਾ ਗਲਿ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੨॥੫॥੨੮॥
gur nānak prabh pāh pathāiō milah sakhā gal lāgai .2.5.28.
Guru Nanak has led me to You, O God. Join with me, O my Best Friend, and hold me close in Your Embrace. ||2||5||28||

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਏਕੈ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਮਾਂਗੈ ॥
mērā man ēkai hī pri mānhgai .
My mind longs for the One Beloved Lord.
ਪੇਖਿ ਆਇਓ ਸਰਬ ਥਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੋਮ ਨ ਸਮਸਰਿ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
pēkh āiō sarab thān dēs pri rōm n samasar lāgai .1. rahāu .
I have looked everywhere in every country, but nothing equals even a hair of my Beloved. ||1||Pause||
ਮੈ ਨੀਰੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਹੁ ਬਿੰਜਨ ਤਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਕਰੈ ਰੁਚਾਂਗੈ ॥
mai nīrē anik bhōjan bah binjan tin siu drisat n karai ruchānhgai .
All sorts of delicacies and dainties are placed before me, but I do not even want to look at them.
ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਮੁਖਿ ਟੇਰੈ ਜਿਉ ਅਲਿ ਕਮਲਾ ਲੋਭਾਂਗੈ ॥੧॥
har ras chāhai pri pri mukh tērai jiu al kamalā lōbhānhgai .1.
I long for the sublime essence of the Lord, calling, "Pri-o! Pri-o! - Beloved! Beloved!", like the Bumble bee longing for the lotus flower. ||1||
