Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਗਾਇਓ ਰੀ ਮੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
gāiō rī mai gun nidh mangal gāiō .
I sing, O I sing the Songs of Joy of my Lord, the Treasure of Virtue.
ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਭਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਉਸਰ ਜਉ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ਰੀਝਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bhalē sanjōg bhalē din ausar jau gōpāl rījhāiō .1. rahāu .
Fortunate is the time, fortunate is the day and the moment, when I become pleasing to the Lord of the World. ||1||Pause||
ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਾਥਾ ॥
santah charan mōralō māthā .
I touch my forehead to the Feet of the Saints.
ਹਮਰੇ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਸੰਤ ਧਰੇ ਹਾਥਾ ॥੧॥
hamarē masatak sant dharē hāthā .1.
The Saints have placed their hands on my forehead. ||1||
ਸਾਧਹ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਨੂਆ ॥
sādhah mantr mōralō manūā .
My mind is filled with the Mantra of the Holy Saints,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਗਤੁ ਹੋਏ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਨੀਆ ॥੨॥
tā tē gat hōē trai gunīā .2.
and I have risen above the three qualities||2||
ਭਗਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨੈਨ ਰੰਗਾ ॥
bhagatah daras dēkh nain rangā .
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of God's devotees, my eyes are filled with love.
ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਤੂਟੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੩॥
lōbh mōh tūtē bhram sangā .3.
Greed and attachment are gone, along with doubt. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਨੰਦਾ ॥
kah nānak sukh sahaj anandā .
Says Nanak, I have found intuitive peace, poise and bliss.
ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿ ਭੀਤਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੪॥
khōlh bhīt milē paramānandā .4.14.
Tearing down the wall, I have met the Lord, the Embodiment of Supreme Bliss. ||4||14||
