Naam Simran is a free Gurbani companion app. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data needed to provide our services.

- Email address — only if you sign in with Google or Apple (used for account identification)
- Bookmarks and reflection notes — stored in your account so they sync across devices
- Sehaj Paath progress — stored in your account
- Device tokens — if you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver notifications
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not track your browsing activity
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not store your chat conversations on our servers
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the app:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- OpenAI — AI-powered responses to your Gurbani questions
- Google Cloud — text-to-speech for Gurmukhi pronunciation
- Firebase — push notification delivery
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Chat messages are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can disable push notifications from your device settings.
