Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਉਪਾਵ ਬਿਰਕਾਤੇ ॥
ab mōh sarab upāv birakātē .
Now I have abandoned all efforts and devices.
ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਏਕਸੁ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਗਾਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
karan kāran samarath suāmī har ēkas tē mērī gātē .1. rahāu .
My Lord and Master is the All-powerful Creator, the Cause of causes, my only Saving Grace. ||1||Pause||
ਦੇਖੇ ਨਾਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗਾ ਅਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੁਮ ਭਾਂਤੇ ॥
dēkhē nānā rūp bah rangā an nāhī tum bhānhtē .
I have seen numerous forms of incomparable beauty, but nothing is like You.
ਦੇਂਹਿ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਉ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ॥੧॥
dēnhh adhār sarab kau thākur jī prān sukhadātē .1.
You give Your Support to all, O my Lord and Master; You are the Giver of peace, of the soul and the breath of life. ||1||
ਭ੍ਰਮਤੌ ਭ੍ਰਮਤੌ ਹਾਰਿ ਜਉ ਪਰਿਓ ਤਉ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤੇ ॥
bhramatau bhramatau hār jau pariō tau gur mil charan parātē .
Wandering, wandering, I grew so tired; meeting the Guru, I fell at His Feet.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੈ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਇਹ ਸੂਖਿ ਬਿਹਾਨੀ ਰਾਤੇ ॥੨॥੩॥੨੬॥
kah nānak mai sarab sukh pāiā ih sūkh bihānī rātē .2.3.26.
Says Nanak, I have found total peace; this life-night of mine passes in peace. ||2||3||26||
