ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥
har jīu kē darasan kau kurabānī .
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of my Dear Lord.
ਬਚਨ ਨਾਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਨਹੁ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bachan nād mērē sravanah pūrē dēhā pri ank samānī .1. rahāu .
The Naad, the Sound-current of His Word fills my ears; my body has settled gently into the Lap of my Beloved. ||1||Pause||
ਛੂਟਰਿ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਈ ਸੋੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਓ ਸੁਘੜ ਸੁਜਾਨੀ ॥
shūtar tē gur kīī sōhāgan har pāiō sughar sujānī .
I was a discarded bride, and the Guru has made me a happy soul-bride. I have found the Elegant and All-knowing Lord.
ਜਿਹ ਘਰ ਮਹਿ ਬੈਸਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਵਤ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਬਾਸਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
jih ghar mah baisan nahī pāvat sō thān miliō bāsānī .1.
That home, in which I was not even allowed to sit - I have found that place in which I can dwell. ||1||
ਉਨ੍ਹ ਕੈ ਬਸਿ ਆਇਓ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਛਲੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਾਖੀ ਆਨ ਸੰਤਾਨੀ ॥
unh kai bas āiō bhagat bashal jin rākhī ān santānī .
God, the Love of His devotees, has come under the control of those who protect the honor of His Saints.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਸਭ ਚੂਕੀ ਕਾਣਿ ਲੋੁਕਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੮॥੩੧॥
kah nānak har sang man māniā sabh chūkī kān lōkānī .2.8.31.
Says Nanak, my mid is pleased and appeased with the Lord, and my subservience to other people has come to an end. ||2||8||31||
