Saarang, Fourth Mehl:
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਭਉ ॥
jap man nirabhau .
O my mind, meditate on the Fearless Lord,
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਤਿ ॥
sat sat sadā sat .
who is True, True, Forever True.
ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ॥
niravair akāl mūrat .
He is free of vengeance, the Image of the Undying,
ਆਜੂਨੀ ਸੰਭਉ ॥
ājūnī sanbhau .
beyond birth, Self-existent.
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਨਦਿਨੋੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਨਿਰਾਹਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mērē man anadinō dhiāi nirankār nirāhārī .1. rahāu .
O my mind, meditate night and day on the Formless, Self-sustaining Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਤੇਤੀਸ ਸਿਧ ਜਤੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਤਟ ਤੀਰਥ ਪਰਭਵਨ ਕਰਤ ਰਹਤ ਨਿਰਾਹਾਰੀ ॥
har darasan kau har darasan kau kōt kōt tētīs sidh jatī jōgī tat tīrath parabhavan karat rahat nirāhārī .
For the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, for the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, the three hundred thirty million gods, and millions of Siddhas, celibates and Yogis make their pilgrimages to sacred shrines and rivers, and go on fasts.
ਤਿਨ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਥਾਇ ਪਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਹੋਵਤੁ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
tin jan kī sēvā thāi paī jinh kau kirapāl hōvat banavārī .1.
The service of the humble person is approved, unto whom the Lord of the World shows His Mercy. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਹੋ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਭਗਤ ਭਲੇ ਜੋ ਭਾਵਤ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥
har kē hō sant bhalē tē ūtam bhagat bhalē jō bhāvat har rām murārī .
They alone are the good Saints of the Lord, the best and most exalted devotees, who are pleasing to their Lord.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕਰੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ ਕੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੧॥
jinh kā ang karai mērā suāmī tinh kī nānak har paij savārī .2.4.11.
Those who have my Lord and Master on their side - O Nanak, the Lord saves their honor. ||2||4||11||
