Saarang, Fourth Mehl:
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
jap man sirī rām .
O my mind, meditate on the Supreme Lord.
ਰਾਮ ਰਮਤ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
rām ramat rām .
The Lord, the Lord is All-pervading.
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
sat sat rām .
True, True is the Lord.
ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਈਆ ਸਦ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਰਬਗੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bōlah bhaīā sad rām rām rām rav rahiā sarabagē .1. rahāu .
O Siblings of Destiny, chant the Name of the Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam, forever. He is All-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||
ਰਾਮੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਭੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਭਤੁ ਜਗੇ ॥
rām āpē āp āpē sabh karatā rām āpē āp āp sabhat jagē .
The Lord Himself is Himself the Creator of all. The Lord Himself is Himself pervading the whole world.
ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੇ ॥੧॥
jis āp kripā karē mērā rām rām rām rāi sō jan rām nām liv lāgē .1.
That person, upon whom my Sovereign Lord King, Raam, Raam, Raam, bestows His Mercy - that person is lovingly attuned to the Lord's Name. ||1||
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਜੋ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਤਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਅਗੇ ॥
rām nām kī upamā dēkhah har santah jō bhagat janānh kī pat rākhai vich kalijug agē .
O Saints of the Lord, behold the Glory of the Name of the Lord; His Name saves the honor of His humble devotees in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕੀਆ ਮੇਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਦੂਖ ਗਏ ਸਭਿ ਭਗੇ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੩॥
jan nānak kā ang kīā mērai rām rāi dusaman dūkh gaē sabh bhagē .2.6.13.
My Sovereign Lord King has taken servant Nanak's side; his enemies and attackers have all run away. ||2||6||13||
