ਅਨਿਕ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
anik jatan kar rahē har ant nāhī pāiā .
Countless have tried, but none have found the Lord's limit.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ॥
jap man rām nām sukhadātā .
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, the Giver of peace.
ਸਭਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਓ ॥
sabh sidh sādhik mun janā man bhāvanī har dhiāiō .
All the Siddhas, seekers and silent sages, with their minds full of love, meditate on the Lord.
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਸਿ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
mērā man rām nām ras lāgā .
My mind is addicted to the juice of the Lord's Name.
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਭਜੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ॥
mērē man bhaj har har nām gupālā .
O my mind, meditate, vibrate upon the Name of the Lord, the Lord of the World, Har, Har.
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਭਜੁ ਸਭ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਕਾਟ ॥
mērē man har bhaj sabh kilabikh kāt .
O my mind, meditate, vibrate on the Lord, and all sins will be eradicated.
ਰੇ ਮਨ ਟਹਲ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਰ ॥
rē man tahal har sukh sār .
O mind, true peace comes from serving the Lord.
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕਉ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥
rām nām kau namasakār .
I humbly bow to the Name of the Lord.
ਐਸੋ ਸਹਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥
aisō sahāī har kō nām .
This is the sort of helper the Name of the Lord is.
ਇਹੀ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਸਫਲ ਕਾਜ ॥
ihī hamārai saphal kāj .
Please let my works be rewarding and fruitful.
ਸਭ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
sabh kai sangī nāhī dūr .
He is with all; He is not far away.
ਹਰਿ ਸਮਰਥ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਾ ॥
har samarath kī saranā .
I seek the Sanctuary of the all-powerful Lord.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਮਰਥ ਦੇਵ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
prabh samarath dēv apār .
God is all-powerful, divine and infinite.
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਬਸਿ ਰਹੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
man tan bas rahē gōpāl .
The Lord of the World abides in my mind and body.
ਧਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਓ ਰਾਮ ਬੇਨੁ ਬਾਜੈ ॥
dhan dhann ō rām bēn bājai .
Blessed, blessed is that flute which the Lord plays.
ਮੇਰੋ ਬਾਪੁ ਮਾਧਉ ਤੂ ਧਨੁ ਕੇਸੌ ਸਾਂਵਲੀਓ ਬੀਠੁਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mērō bāp mādhau tū dhan kēsau sānhvalīō bīthulāi .1. rahāu .
O my Father, Lord of wealth, blessed are You, long-haired, dark-skinned, my darling. ||1||Pause||
ਸਭੈ ਘਟ ਰਾਮੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਰਾਮਾ ਬੋਲੈ ॥
sabhai ghat rām bōlai rāmā bōlai .
Within all hearts, the Lord speaks, the Lord speaks.
