Bairari stimulates the feeling of improving and continuing with a task, which has already been accomplished. It is an unmoving belief that what has been achieved is true and positive, which leads to a hunger and desire to progress to the next stage. Although there is immense confidence in the achievement, there is no conceit or vanity in the accomplishment.

ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥
sun man akath kathā har nām .
Listen, O mind, to the Unspoken Speech of the Lord's Name.
ਮਨ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
man mil sant janā jas gāiō .
O mind, those who meet the Lord's humble servants, sing His Praises.
ਹਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
har jan rām nām gun gāvai .
The Lord's humble servant sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord's Name.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥
jap man rām nām nisatārā .
Chant the Name of the Lord, O mind, and you shall be emancipated.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥
jap man har niranjan nirankārā .
Meditate, O mind, on the immaculate, formless Lord.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
jap man har har nām nit dhiāi .
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; meditate on it continually.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
sant janā mil har jas gāiō .
Meeting with the humble Saints, sing the Praises of the Lord.
