ਸੇਵੀਲੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ॥
sēvīlē gōpāl rāi akul niranjan .
Serve the King, the Sovereign Lord of the World. He has no ancestry; He is immaculate and pure.
ਭਗਤਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਜਾਚਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bhagat dān dījai jāchah sant jan .1. rahāu .
Please bless me with the gift of devotion, which the humble Saints beg for. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਦਿਗ ਦਿਸੈ ਸਰਾਇਚਾ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਭਵਨ ਚਿਤ੍ਰਸਾਲਾ ਸਪਤ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਮਾਨਿ ਪੂਰੀਅਲੇ ॥
jānh chai ghar dig disai sarāichā baikunth bhavan chitrasālā sapat lōk sāmān pūrīalē .
His Home is the pavilion seen in all directions; His ornamental heavenly realms fill the seven worlds alike.
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਲਛਿਮੀ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਚੰਦੁ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਦੀਵੜੇ ਕਉਤਕੁ ਕਾਲੁ ਬਪੁੜਾ ਕੋਟਵਾਲੁ ਸੁ ਕਰਾ ਸਿਰੀ ॥
jānh chai ghar lashimī kuārī chand sūraj dīvarē kautak kāl bapurā kōtavāl s karā sirī .
In His Home, the virgin Lakshmi dwells. The moon and the sun are His two lamps; the wretched Messenger of Death stages his dramas, and levies taxes on all.
ਸੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਰਹਰੀ ॥੧॥

Such is my Sovereign Lord King, the Supreme Lord of all. ||1||
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਕੁਲਾਲੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਚਤੁਰ ਮੁਖੁ ਡਾਂਵੜਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਬਿਸ੍ਵ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਰਾਚੀਲੇ ॥
jānh chai ghar kulāl brahamā chatur mukh dānhvarā jin bisv sansār rāchīlē .
In His House, the four-faced Brahma, the cosmic potter lives. He created the entire universe.
ਜਾਂ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਈਸਰੁ ਬਾਵਲਾ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਤਤ ਸਾਰਖਾ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਭਾਖੀਲੇ ॥
jānh kai ghar īsar bāvalā jagat gurū tat sārakhā giān bhākhīlē .
In His House, the insane Shiva, the Guru of the World, lives; he imparts spiritual wisdom to expain the essence of reality.
ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਡਾਂਗੀਆ ਦੁਆਰੈ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲੇਖੀਆ ॥
pāp punn jānh chai dānhgīā duārai chitr gupat lēkhīā .
Sin and virtue are the standard-bearers at His Door; Chitr and Gupt are the recording angels of the conscious and subconscious.
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਪਰੁਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਹਾਰੁ ॥
dharam rāi parulī pratihār .
The Righteous Judge of Dharma, the Lord of Destruction, is the door-man.
ਸੋੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥੨॥
sō aisā rājā srī gōpāl .2.
Such is the Supreme Sovereign Lord of the World. ||2||
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਰਿਖੀ ਬਪੁੜੇ ਢਾਢੀਆ ਗਾਵੰਤ ਆਛੈ ॥
jānh chai ghar gan gandharab rikhī bapurē dhādhīā gāvant āshai .
In His Home are the heavenly heralds, celestial singers, Rishis and poor minstrels, who sing so sweetly.
ਸਰਬ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੁ ਰੂਪੀਆ ਅਨਗਰੂਆ ਆਖਾੜਾ ਮੰਡਲੀਕ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਕਾਛੇ ॥
sarab sāsatr bah rūpīā anagarūā ākhārā mandalīk bōl bōlah kāshē .
All the Shaastras take various forms in His theater, singing beautiful songs.
ਚਉਰ ਢੂਲ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਹੈ ਪਵਣੁ ॥
chaur dhūl jānh chai hai pavan .
The wind waves the fly-brush over Him;
ਚੇਰੀ ਸਕਤਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਲੇ ਭਵਣੁ ॥
chērī sakat jīt lē bhavan .
His hand-maiden is Maya, who has conquered the world.
ਅੰਡ ਟੂਕ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਭਸਮਤੀ ॥
and tūk jā chai bhasamatī .
The shell of the earth is His fireplace.
ਸੋੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਪਤੀ ॥੩॥
sō aisā rājā tribhavan patī .3.
Such is the Sovereign Lord of the three worlds. ||3||
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਕੂਰਮਾ ਪਾਲੁ ਸਹਸ੍ਰ ਫਨੀ ਬਾਸਕੁ ਸੇਜ ਵਾਲੂਆ ॥
jānh chai ghar kūramā pāl sahasr phanī bāsak sēj vālūā .
In His Home, the celestial turtle is the bed-frame, woven with the strings of the thousand-headed snake.
ਅਠਾਰਹ ਭਾਰ ਬਨਾਸਪਤੀ ਮਾਲਣੀ ਛਿਨਵੈ ਕਰੋੜੀ ਮੇਘ ਮਾਲਾ ਪਾਣੀਹਾਰੀਆ ॥
athārah bhār banāsapatī mālanī shinavai karōrī mēgh mālā pānīhārīā .
His flower-girls are the eighteen loads of vegetation; His water-carriers are the nine hundred sixty million clouds.
ਨਖ ਪ੍ਰਸੇਵ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਸੁਰਸਰੀ ॥
nakh prasēv jā chai surasarī .
His sweat is the Ganges River.
ਸਪਤ ਸਮੁੰਦ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘੜਥਲੀ ॥
sapat samund jānh chai gharathalī .
The seven seas are His water-pitchers.
ਏਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਵਰਤਣੀ ॥
ētē jī jānh chai varatanī .
The creatures of the world are His household utensils.
ਸੋੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਧਣੀ ॥੪॥
sō aisā rājā tribhavan dhanī .4.
Such is the Sovereign Lord King of the three worlds. ||4||
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਨਿਕਟ ਵਰਤੀ ਅਰਜਨੁ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਅੰਬਰੀਕੁ ਨਾਰਦੁ ਨੇਜੈ ਸਿਧ ਬੁਧ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਬਾਨਵੈ ਹੇਲਾ ॥
jānh chai ghar nikat varatī arajan dhrū prahalād anbarīk nārad nējai sidh budh gan gandharab bānavai hēlā .
In His home are Arjuna, Dhroo, Prahlaad, Ambreek, Naarad, Nayjaa, the Siddhas and Buddhas, the ninety-two heavenly heralds and celestial singers in their wondrous play.
ਏਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਹਹਿ ਘਰੀ ॥
ētē jī jānh chai hah gharī .
All the creatures of the world are in His House.
ਸਰਬ ਬਿਆਪਿਕ ਅੰਤਰ ਹਰੀ ॥
sarab biāpik antar harī .
The Lord is diffused in the inner beings of all.
ਪ੍ਰਣਵੈ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਤਾਂ ਚੀ ਆਣਿ ॥
pranavai nāmadēu tānh chī ān .
Prays Naam Dayv, seek His Protection.
ਸਗਲ ਭਗਤ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਨੀਸਾਣਿ ॥੫॥੧॥
sagal bhagat jā chai nīsān .5.1.
All the devotees are His banner and insignia. ||5||1||

ਮੋ ਕਉ ਤੂੰ ਨ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਤੂ ਨ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ॥
mō kau tūn n bisār tū n bisār .
Please do not forget me; please do not forget me,
ਤੂ ਨ ਬਿਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਮਈਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tū n bisārē rāmaīā .1. rahāu .
please do not forget me, O Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਆਲਾਵੰਤੀ ਇਹੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਜੋ ਹੈ ਮੁਝ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਭ ਕੋਪਿਲਾ ॥
ālāvantī ih bhram jō hai mujh ūpar sabh kōpilā .
The temple priests have doubts about this, and everyone is furious with me.
ਸੂਦੁ ਸੂਦੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਉਠਾਇਓ ਕਹਾ ਕਰਉ ਬਾਪ ਬੀਠੁਲਾ ॥੧॥
sūd sūd kar mār uthāiō kahā karau bāp bīthulā .1.
Calling me low-caste and untouchable, they beat me and drove me out; what should I do now, O Beloved Father Lord? ||1||
ਮੂਏ ਹੂਏ ਜਉ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੇਹੁਗੇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੋਇਲਾ ॥
mūē hūē jau mukat dēhugē mukat n jānai kōilā .
If You liberate me after I am dead, no one will know that I am liberated.
ਏ ਪੰਡੀਆ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਢੇਢ ਕਹਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਪੈਜ ਪਿਛੰਉਡੀ ਹੋਇਲਾ ॥੨॥
ē pandīā mō kau dhēdh kahat tērī paij pishanudī hōilā .2.
These Pandits, these religious scholars, call me low-born; when they say this, they tarnish Your honor as well. ||2||
ਤੂ ਜੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਕਹੀਅਤੁ ਹੈਂ ਅਤਿਭੁਜ ਭਇਓ ਅਪਾਰਲਾ ॥
tū j daiāl kripāl kahīat hainh atibhuj bhaiō apāralā .
You are called kind and compassionate; the power of Your Arm is absolutely unrivalled.
ਫੇਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਦੇਹੁਰਾ ਨਾਮੇ ਕਉ ਪੰਡੀਅਨ ਕਉ ਪਿਛਵਾਰਲਾ ॥੩॥੨॥
phēr dīā dēhurā nāmē kau pandīan kau pishavāralā .3.2.
The Lord turned the temple around to face Naam Dayv; He turned His back on the Brahmins. ||3||2||
