ਹੈ ਕੋਊ ਐਸਾ ਮੀਤੁ ਜਿ ਤੋਰੈ ਬਿਖਮ ਗਾਂਠਿ ॥
hai kōū aisā mīt j tōrai bikham gānhth .
Is there any such friend, who can untie this difficult knot?
ਨਾਨਕ ਇਕੁ ਸ੍ਰੀਧਰ ਨਾਥੁ ਜਿ ਟੂਟੇ ਲੇਇ ਸਾਂਠਿ ॥੧੫॥
nānak ik srīdhar nāth j tūtē lēi sānhth .15.
O Nanak, the One Supreme Lord and Master of the earth reunites the separated ones. ||15||
ਧਾਵਉ ਦਸਾ ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾਰਣੇ ॥
dhāvau dasā anēk prēm prabh kāranē .
I run around in all directions, searching for the love of God.
ਪੰਚ ਸਤਾਵਹਿ ਦੂਤ ਕਵਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਮਾਰਣੇ ॥
panch satāvah dūt kavan bidh māranē .
The five evil enemies are tormenting me; how can I destroy them?
ਤੀਖਣ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਇ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧ੍ਯਾਈਐ ॥
tīkhan bān chalāi nām prabh dhyāīai .
Shoot them with the sharp arrows of meditation on the Name of God.
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਮਹਾਂ ਬਿਖਾਦੀ ਘਾਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧੬॥
harihānh mahānh bikhādī ghāt pūran gur pāīai .16.
O Lord! The way to slaughter these terrible sadistic enemies is obtained from the Perfect Guru. ||16||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਨਿਖੁਟਈ ॥
satigur kīnī dāt mūl n nikhutaī .
The True Guru has blessed me with the bounty which shall never be exhausted.
ਖਾਵਹੁ ਭੁੰਚਹੁ ਸਭਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਛੁਟਈ ॥
khāvah bhunchah sabh guramukh shutaī .
Eating and consuming it, all the Gurmukhs are emancipated.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਦਿਤਾ ਤੁਸਿ ਹਰਿ ॥
anmrit nām nidhān ditā tus har .
The Lord, in His Mercy, has blessed me with the treasure of the Ambrosial Naam.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਅਰਾਧਿ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਜਾਂਹਿ ਮਰਿ ॥੧੭॥
nānak sadā arādh kadē n jānhh mar .17.
O Nanak, worship and adore the Lord, who never dies. ||17||
ਜਿਥੈ ਜਾਏ ਭਗਤੁ ਸੁ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ॥
jithai jāē bhagat s thān suhāvanā .
Wherever the Lord's devotee goes is a blessed, beautiful place.
ਸਗਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੁਖ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਣਾ ॥
sagalē hōē sukh har nām dhiāvanā .
All comforts are obtained, meditating on the Lord's Name.
ਜੀਅ ਕਰਨਿ ਜੈਕਾਰੁ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਮੁਏ ਪਚਿ ॥
jī karan jaikār nindak muē pach .
People praise and congratulate the devotee of the Lord, while the slanderers rot and die.
ਸਾਜਨ ਮਨਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ॥੧੮॥
sājan man ānand nānak nām jap .18.
Says Nanak, O friend, chant the Naam, and your mind shall be filled with bliss. ||18||
ਪਾਵਨ ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਕਤਹ ਨਹੀ ਸੇਵੀਐ ॥
pāvan patit punīt katah nahī sēvīai .
The mortal never serves the Immaculate Lord, the Purifier of sinners.
ਝੂਠੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਖੁਆਰੁ ਕਹਾਂ ਲਗੁ ਖੇਵੀਐ ॥
jhūthai rang khuār kahānh lag khēvīai .
The mortal wastes away in false pleasures. How long can this go on?
ਹਰਿਚੰਦਉਰੀ ਪੇਖਿ ਕਾਹੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥
harichandaurī pēkh kāhē sukh māniā .
Why do you take such pleasure, looking at this mirage?
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤਿੰਨ ਜਿ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥੧੯॥
harihānh hau balihārī tinn j daragah jāniā .19.
O Lord! I am a sacrifice to those who are known and approved in the Court of the Lord. ||19||
ਕੀਨੇ ਕਰਮ ਅਨੇਕ ਗਵਾਰ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਘਨ ॥
kīnē karam anēk gavār bikār ghan .
The fool commits countless foolish actions and so many sinful mistakes.
ਮਹਾ ਦ੍ਰੁਗੰਧਤ ਵਾਸੁ ਸਠ ਕਾ ਛਾਰੁ ਤਨ ॥
mahā drugandhat vās sath kā shār tan .
The fool's body smells rotten, and turns to dust.
ਫਿਰਤਉ ਗਰਬ ਗੁਬਾਰਿ ਮਰਣੁ ਨਹ ਜਾਨਈ ॥
phiratau garab gubār maran nah jānaī .
He wanders lost in the darkness of pride, and never thinks of dying.
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਹਰਿਚੰਦਉਰੀ ਪੇਖਿ ਕਾਹੇ ਸਚੁ ਮਾਨਈ ॥੨੦॥
harihānh harichandaurī pēkh kāhē sach mānaī .20.
O Lord! The mortal gazes upon the mirage; why does he think it is true? ||20||
ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਪੂਜੈ ਅਉਧ ਤਿਸੈ ਕਉਣੁ ਰਾਖਈ ॥
jis kī pūjai audh tisai kaun rākhaī .
When someone's days are over, who can save him?
ਬੈਦਕ ਅਨਿਕ ਉਪਾਵ ਕਹਾਂ ਲਉ ਭਾਖਈ ॥
baidak anik upāv kahānh lau bhākhaī .
How long can the physicians go on, suggesting various therapies?
ਏਕੋ ਚੇਤਿ ਗਵਾਰ ਕਾਜਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਆਵਈ ॥
ēkō chēt gavār kāj tērai āvaī .
You fool, remember the One Lord; only He shall be of use to you in the end.
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਤਨੁ ਛਾਰੁ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਾਵਈ ॥੨੧॥
harihānh bin nāvai tan shār brithā sabh jāvaī .21.
O Lord! Without the Name, the body turns to dust, and everything goes to waste. ||21||
ਅਉਖਧੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਅਮੋਲਕੁ ਪੀਜਈ ॥
aukhadh nām apār amōlak pījaī .
Drink in the medicine of the Incomparable, Priceless Name.
ਮਿਲਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਖਾਵਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਸਗਲ ਕਉ ਦੀਜਈ ॥
mil mil khāvah sant sagal kau dījaī .
Meeting and joining together, the Saints drink it in, and give it to everyone.
ਜਿਸੈ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਤਿਸੈ ਹੀ ਪਾਵਣੇ ॥
jisai parāpat hōi tisai hī pāvanē .
He alone is blessed with it, who is destined to receive it.
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਜਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਰਾਵਣੇ ॥੨੨॥
harihānh hau balihārī tinnh j har rang rāvanē .22.
O Lord! I am a sacrifice to those who enjoy the Love of the Lord. ||22||
ਵੈਦਾ ਸੰਦਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਇਕਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ॥
vaidā sandā sang ikathā hōiā .
The physicians meet together in their assembly.
ਅਉਖਦ ਆਏ ਰਾਸਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਪਿ ਖਲੋਇਆ ॥
aukhad āē rās vich āp khalōiā .
The medicines are effective, when the Lord Himself stands in their midst.
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਓਨਾ ਕਰਮ ਸੁਕਰਮ ਹੋਇ ਪਸਰਿਆ ॥
jō jō ōnā karam sukaram hōi pasariā .
Their good deeds and karma become apparent.
ਹਰਿਹਾਂ ਦੂਖ ਰੋਗ ਸਭਿ ਪਾਪ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਖਿਸਰਿਆ ॥੨੩॥
harihānh dūkh rōg sabh pāp tan tē khisariā .23.
O Lord! Pains, diseases and sins all vanish from their bodies. ||23||

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੰਮਨ ਜਉ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀ ਦਮ ਕ੍ਯਿਹੁ ਹੋਤੀ ਸਾਟ ॥
sanman jau is prēm kī dam kyih hōtī sāt .
O Samman, if one could buy this love with money,
ਰਾਵਨ ਹੁਤੇ ਸੁ ਰੰਕ ਨਹਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਿਰ ਦੀਨੇ ਕਾਟਿ ॥੧॥
rāvan hutē s rank nah jin sir dīnē kāt .1.
then consider Raawan the king. He was not poor, but he could not buy it, even though he offered his head to Shiva. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤਨੁ ਖਚਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਬੀਚੁ ਨ ਰਾਈ ਹੋਤ ॥
prīt prēm tan khach rahiā bīch n rāī hōt .
My body is drenched in love and affection for the Lord; there is no distance at all between us.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮਨੁ ਬੇਧਿਓ ਬੂਝਨੁ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥੨॥
charan kamal man bēdhiō būjhan surat sanjōg .2.
My mind is pierced through by the Lotus Feet of the Lord. He is realized when one's intuitive consciousness is attuned to Him. ||2||
