ਤੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਇਕ ਚਿਤਿ ਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
tērē jan dhiāvah ik man ik chit tē sādhū sukh pāvah jap har har nām nidhān .
Your humble servants focus their consciousness and meditate on You with one-pointed mind; those Holy beings find peace, chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, the Treasure of Bliss.
ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੀਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੧॥
usatat karah prabh tērīā mil sādhū sādh janā gur satigurū bhagavān .1.
They sing Your Praises, God, meeting with the Holy, the Holy people, and the Guru, the True Guru, O Lord God. ||1||
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਤੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਤੇ ਤਰੇ ਭਵ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਤੇ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਨ ॥
jin kai hiradai tū suāmī tē sukh phal pāvah tē tarē bhav sindh tē bhagat har jān .
They alone obtain the fruit of peace, within whose hearts You, O my Lord and Master, abide. They cross over the terrifying world-ocean - they are known as the Lord's devotees.
ਤਿਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰੇ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੨॥
tin sēvā ham lāi harē ham lāi harē jan nānak kē har tū tū tū tū tū bhagavān .2.6.12.
Please enjoin me to their service, Lord, please enjoin me to their service. O Lord God, You, You, You, You, You are the Lord of servant Nanak. ||2||6||12||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਗਾਈਐ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ॥
gāīai gun gōpāl kripā nidh .
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the World, the Treasure of Mercy.
ਦੁਖ ਬਿਦਾਰਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਭੇਟਤ ਹੋਇ ਸਗਲ ਸਿਧਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dukh bidāran sukhadātē satigur jā kau bhētat hōi sagal sidh .1. rahāu .
The True Guru is the Destroyer of pain, the Giver of peace; meeting Him, one is totally fulfilled. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥
simarat nām manah sādhārai .
Meditate in remembrance on the Naam, the Support of the mind.
ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਾਧੀ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਤਾਰੈ ॥੧॥
kōt parādhī khin mah tārai .1.
Millions of sinners are carried across in an instant. ||1||
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
jā kau chīt āvai gur apanā .
Whoever remembers his Guru,
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਦੂਖੁ ਨਹੀ ਤਿਲੁ ਸੁਪਨਾ ॥੨॥
tā kau dūkh nahī til supanā .2.
shall not suffer sorrow, even in dreams. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਰਾਖੈ ॥
jā kau satigur apanā rākhai .
Whoever keeps his Guru enshrined within
ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਚਾਖੈ ॥੩॥
sō jan har ras rasanā chākhai .3.
- that humble being tastes the sublime essence of the Lord with his tongue. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਮਇਆ ॥
kah nānak gur kīnī maiā .
Says Nanak, the Guru has been Kind to me;
ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਭਇਆ ॥੪॥੧॥
halat palat mukh ūjal bhaiā .4.1.
here and herafter, my face is radiant. ||4||1||

Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl:
ਆਰਾਧਉ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਪਨੇ ॥
ārādhau tujhah suāmī apanē .
I worship and adore You, my Lord and Master.
ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸੋਵਤ ਜਾਗਤ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ūthat baithat sōvat jāgat sās sās sās har japanē .1. rahāu .
Standing up and sitting down, while sleeping and awake, with each and every breath, I meditate on the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਿਓ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
tā kai hiradai basiō nām .
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within the hearts of those,
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੀਨੋ ਦਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
jā kau suāmī kīnō dān .1.
whose Lord and Master blesses them with this gift. ||1||
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਆਈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ॥
tā kai hiradai āī sānht .
Peace and tranquility come into the hearts of those
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨਾਂਤਿ ॥੨॥
thākur bhētē gur bachanānht .2.
who meet their Lord and Master, through the Word of the Guru. ||2||
ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਸੋਈ ਪਰਬੀਨ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥੩॥
sarab kalā sōī parabīn . nām mantr jā kau gur dīn .3.
Those whom the Guru blesses with the Mantra of the Naam are wise, and blessed with all powers,. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
kah nānak tā kai bal jāu .
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to those
ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥੨॥
kalijug mah pāiā jin nāu .4.2.
who are blessed with the Name in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga. ||4||2||

ਕੀਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਗਾਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਸਨਾਂ ॥
kīrat prabh kī gāu mērī rasanānh .
Sing the Praises of God, O my tongue.
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਊਹਾਂ ਚਰਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਬਸਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
anik bār kar bandan santan ūhānh charan gōbind jī kē basanā .1. rahāu .
Humbly bow to the Saints, over and over again; through them, the Feet of the Lord of the Universe shall come to abide within you. ||1||Pause||
ਅਨਿਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੁਆਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ॥
anik bhānht kar duār n pāvau .
The Door to the Lord cannot be found by any other means.
ਹੋਇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਉ ॥੧॥
hōi kripāl t har har dhiāvau .1.
When He becomes Merciful, we come to meditate on the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਕੋਟਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਹ ਨ ਸੋਧਾ ॥
kōt karam kar dēh n sōdhā .
The body is not purified by millions of rituals.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਮਨੁ ਪਰਬੋਧਾ ॥੨॥
sādhasangat mah man parabōdhā .2.
The mind is awakened and enlightened only in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||2||
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਨ ਬੂਝੀ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
trisan n būjhī bah rang māiā .
Thirst and desire are not quenched by enjoying the many pleasures of Maya.
ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਤ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
nām lait sarab sukh pāiā .3.
Chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, total peace is found. ||3||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
pārabraham jab bhaē daiāl .
When the Supreme Lord God becomes Merciful,
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਉ ਛੂਟੇ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥੪॥੩॥
kah nānak tau shūtē janjāl .4.3.
says Nanak, then one is rid of worldly entanglements. ||4||3||

ਐਸੀ ਮਾਂਗੁ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਤੇ ॥
aisī mānhg gōbid tē .
Beg for such blessings from the Lord of the Universe:
ਟਹਲ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸੰਗੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਜਪਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tahal santan kī sang sādhū kā har nāmānh jap param gatē .1. rahāu .
to work for the Saints, and the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Chanting the Name of the Lord, the supreme status is obtained. ||1||Pause||
ਪੂਜਾ ਚਰਨਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਰਨਾ ॥
pūjā charanā thākur saranā .
Worship the Feet of Your Lord and Master, and seek His Sanctuary.
ਸੋਈ ਕੁਸਲੁ ਜੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥
sōī kusal j prabh jīu karanā .1.
Take joy in whatever God does. ||1||
ਸਫਲ ਹੋਤ ਇਹ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹੀ ॥
saphal hōt ih duralabh dēhī .
This precious human body becomes fruitful,
