ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਨੀਕੇ ਜਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗਿ ਰੰਗੀਤਿ ॥
har kē sant sant jan nīkē jin miliānh man rang rangīt .
The humble Saints, the Saints of the Lord, are noble and sublime; meeting them, the mind is tinged with love and joy.
ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਹੈ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥੩॥
har rang lahai n utarai kabahū har har jāi milai har prīt .3.
The Lord's Love never fades away, and it never wears off. Through the Lord's Love, one goes and meets the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
ਹਮ ਬਹੁ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਾਟੇ ਕਟਿਤ ਕਟੀਤਿ ॥
ham bah pāp kīē aparādhī gur kātē katit katīt .
I am a sinner; I have committed so many sins. The Guru has cut them, cut them, and hacked them off.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਮੁਖਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤਿ ॥੪॥੫॥
har har nām dīō mukh aukhadh jan nānak patit punīt .4.5.
The Guru has placed the healing remedy of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, into my mouth. Servant Nanak, the sinner, has been purified and sanctified. ||4||5||

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥

Chant, O my mind, the Name of the Lord, the Lord of the Universe.
ਘੂਮਨ ਘੇਰ ਪਰੇ ਬਿਖੁ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਏ ਦੇ ਹਾਥ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ghūman ghēr parē bikh bikhiā satigur kādh līē dē hāth .1. rahāu .
I was caught in the whirlpool of poisonous sin and corruption. The True Guru gave me His Hand; He lifted me up and pulled me out. ||1||Pause||
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਭੈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਨਰਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਪਾਥ ॥
suāmī abhai niranjan narahar tumh rākh lēh ham pāpī pāth .
O my Fearless, Immaculate Lord and Master, please save me - I am a sinner, a sinking stone.
ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਲੋਭਿ ਲੁਭਤੇ ਕਾਸਟ ਲੋਹ ਤਰੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਥ ॥੧॥
kām krōdh bikhiā lōbh lubhatē kāsat lōh tarē sang sāth .1.
I am lured and enticed by sexual desire, anger, greed and corruption, but associating with You, I am carried across, like iron in the wooden boat. ||1||
ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਡ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਹਮ ਢੂਢਿ ਰਹੇ ਪਾਈ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਥ ॥
tumh vad purakh bad agam agōchar ham dhūdh rahē pāī nahī hāth .
You are the Great Primal Being, the most Inaccessible and Unfathomable Lord God; I search for You, but cannot find Your depth.
ਤੂ ਪਰੈ ਪਰੈ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੂ ਆਪਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥੨॥
tū parai parai aparanpar suāmī tū āpan jānah āp jagannāth .2.
You are the farthest of the far, beyond the beyond, O my Lord and Master; You alone know Yourself, O Lord of the Universe. ||2||
ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੁ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਪਾਥ ॥
adrisat agōchar nām dhiāē satasangat mil sādhū pāth .
I meditate on the Name of the Unseen and Unfathomable Lord; joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have found the Path of the Holy.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਅਕਥ ਕਥ ਕਾਥ ॥੩॥
har har kathā sunī mil sangat har har japiō akath kath kāth .3.
Joining the congregation, I listen to the Gospel of the Lord, Har, Har; I meditate on the Lord, Har, Har, and speak the Unspoken Speech. ||3||
ਹਮਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਗੁਸਾਈ ਹਮ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥
hamarē prabh jagadīs gusāī ham rākh lēh jagannāth .
My God is the Lord of the World, the Lord of the Universe; please save me, O Lord of all Creation.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਸਨ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਹੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਜਨ ਸਾਥ ॥੪॥੬॥
jan nānak dās dās dāsan kō prabh karah kripā rākhah jan sāth .4.6.
Servant Nanak is the slave of the slave of Your slaves. O God, please bless me with Your Grace; please protect me and keep me with Your humble servants. ||4||6||

har ratan javēhar lāl .
The Lord is the Jewel, the Diamond, the Ruby.
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਘੜਿ ਟਕਸਾਲ ॥
har guramukh ghar takasāl .
The Lord fashions the Gurmukhs in His Mint.

ਤੁਮਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਏਕ ਜੀਹ ਕਿਆ ਕਥੈ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਲਾਲ ॥
tumarē gun agam agōchar ēk jīh kiā kathai bichārī rām rām rām rām lāl .
Your Glorious Virtues are inaccessible and unfathomable; how can my one poor tongue describe them? O my Beloved Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam, Raam.
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਜੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਹਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥
tumarī jī akath kathā tū tū tū hī jānah hau har jap bhaī nihāl nihāl nihāl .1.
O Dear Lord, You, You, You alone know Your Unspoken Speech. I have become enraptured, enraptured, enraptured, meditating on the Lord. ||1||
ਹਮਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਜੀਹ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਮਾਲ ॥
hamarē har prān sakhā suāmī har mītā mērē man tan jīh har harē harē rām nām dhan māl .
The Lord, my Lord and Master, is my Companion and my Breath of Life; the Lord is my Best Friend. My mind, body and tongue are attuned to the Lord, Har, Haray, Haray. The Lord is my Wealth and Property.
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਭਾਗੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਲੀਓ ਰੀ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
jā kō bhāg tin līō rī suhāg har har harē harē gun gāvai guramat hau bal balē hau bal balē jan nānak har jap bhaī nihāl nihāl nihāl .2.1.7.
She alone obtains her Husband Lord, who is so pre-destined. Through the Guru’s Teachings, she sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Haray, Haray. ਏਕਾ ਜੀਹ ਕੀਚੈ ਲਖ ਬੀਸ ॥
ēkā jīh kīchai lakh bīs .
Let my one tongue become two hundred thousand
ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਪੀਸ ॥
jap har har sabad japīs .
- with them all, I will meditate on the Lord, Har, Har, and chant the Word of the Shabad.
ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਕਿਰਪੀਸ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har hō hō kirapīs .1. rahāu .
O Lord, please, please, be Merciful to me. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪੇ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਉ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥
har kirapā kar suāmī ham lāi har sēvā har jap japē har jap japē jap jāpau jagadīs .
O Lord, my Lord and Master, please be Merciful to me; please enjoin me to serve You. I chant and meditate on the Lord, I chant and meditate on the Lord, I chant and meditate on the Lord of the Universe.
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਜਨ ਰਾਮੁ ਜਪਹਿ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਘੁਮਿ ਘੁਮੇ ਘੁਮਿ ਘੁਮਿ ਜੀਸ ॥੧॥
tumarē jan rām japah tē ūtam tin kau hau ghum ghumē ghum ghum jīs .1.
Your humble servants chant and meditate on You, O Lord; they are sublime and exalted. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to them. ||1||
