ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
thān thanantar antarajāmī .
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is in all places and interspaces.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਗਣਤ ਮਿਟਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੮॥
simar simar pūran paramēsur chintā ganat mitāī hē .8.
Meditating, meditating in remembrance on the Perfect Transcendent Lord, I am rid of all anxieties and calculations. ||8||
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਕੋਟਿ ਲਖ ਬਾਹਾ ॥
har kā nām kōt lakh bāhā .
One who has the Name of the Lord has hundreds of thousands and millions of arms.
ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਧਨੁ ਤਾਹਾ ॥
har jas kīratan sang dhan tāhā .
The wealth of the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises is with him.
ਗਿਆਨ ਖੜਗੁ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਨਾ ਦੂਤ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੯॥
giān kharag kar kirapā dīnā dūt mārē kar dhāī hē .9.
In His Mercy, God has blessed me with the sword of spiritual wisdom; I have attacked and killed the demons. ||9||
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਜਾਪੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਜਪੁ ਜਪਨੇ ॥
har kā jāp japah jap japanē .
Chant the Chant of the Lord, the Chant of Chants.
ਜੀਤਿ ਆਵਹੁ ਵਸਹੁ ਘਰਿ ਅਪਨੇ ॥
jīt āvah vasah ghar apanē .
Be a winner of the game of life and come to abide in your true home.
ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਨਰਕ ਨ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੦॥
lakh chaurāsīh narak n dēkhah rasak rasak gun gāī hē .10.
You shall not see the 8.4 million types of hell; sing His Glorious Praises and remain saturated with loving devotion||10||
ਖੰਡ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਉਧਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
khand brahamand udhāranahārā .
He is the Savior of worlds and galaxies.
ਊਚ ਅਥਾਹ ਅਗੰਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
ūch athāh aganm apārā .
He is lofty, unfathomable, inaccessible and infinite.
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨੀ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੧॥
jis nō kripā karē prabh apanī sō jan tisah dhiāī hē .11.
That humble being, unto whom God grants His Grace, meditates on Him. ||11||
ਬੰਧਨ ਤੋੜਿ ਲੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਮੋਲੇ ॥
bandhan tōr līē prabh mōlē .
God has broken my bonds, and claimed me as His own.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਨੇ ਘਰ ਗੋਲੇ ॥
kar kirapā kīnē ghar gōlē .
In His Mercy, He has made me the slave of His home.
ਅਨਹਦ ਰੁਣ ਝੁਣਕਾਰੁ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਸਾਚੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੨॥
anahad run jhunakār sahaj dhun sāchī kār kamāī hē .12.
The unstruck celestial sound current resounds and vibrates, when one performs acts of true service. ||12||
ਮਨਿ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ਬਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੀ ॥
man paratīt banī prabh tērī .
O God, I have enshrined faith in You within my mind.
ਬਿਨਸਿ ਗਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਤਿ ਮੇਰੀ ॥
binas gaī haumai mat mērī .
My egotistical intellect has been driven out.
ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੋਭ ਸੁਹਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੩॥
angīkār kīā prabh apanai jag mah sōbh suhāī hē .13.
God has made me His own, and now I have a glorious reputation in this world. ||13||
ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਜਗਦੀਸੈ ॥
jai jai kār japah jagadīsai .
Proclaim His Glorious Victory, and meditate on the Lord of the Universe.
ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਈਸੈ ॥
bal bal jāī prabh apunē īsai .
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to my Lord God.
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ਏਕਾ ਜਗਤਿ ਸਬਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੪॥
tis bin dūjā avar n dīsai ēkā jagat sabāī hē .14.
I do not see any other except Him. The One Lord pervades the whole world. ||14||
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
sat sat sat prabh jātā .
True, True, True is God.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਸਦਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ॥
gur parasād sadā man rātā .
By Guru's Grace, my mind is attuned to Him forever.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਜਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਏਕੰਕਾਰਿ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੫॥
simar simar jīvah jan tērē ēkankār samāī hē .15.
Your humble servants live by meditating, meditating in remembrance on You, merging in You, O One Universal Creator. ||15||
ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
bhagat janā kā prītam piārā .
The Dear Lord is the Beloved of His humble devotees.
ਸਭੈ ਉਧਾਰਣੁ ਖਸਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥
sabhai udhāran khasam hamārā .
My Lord and Master is the Savior of all.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੁੰਨੀ ਸਭ ਇਛਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧੬॥੧॥
simar nām punnī sabh ishā jan nānak paij rakhāī hē .16.1.
Meditating in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all desires are fulfilled. He has saved the honor of servant Nanak. ||16||1||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੰਗੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਲਪਟਾਣੀ ॥
sangī jōgī nār lapatānī .
The body-bride is attached to the Yogi, the husband-soul.
ਉਰਝਿ ਰਹੀ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਮਾਣੀ ॥
urajh rahī rang ras mānī .
She is involved with him, enjoying pleasure and delights.
ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਭਏ ਇਕਤ੍ਰਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਭੋਗ ਬਿਲਾਸਾ ਹੇ ॥੧॥
kirat sanjōgī bhaē ikatrā karatē bhōg bilāsā hē .1.
As a consequence of past actions, they have come together, enjoying pleasurable play. ||1||
ਜੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਧਨ ਤਤੁ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
jō pir karai s dhan tat mānai .
Whatever the husband does, the bride willingly accepts.
ਪਿਰੁ ਧਨਹਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ਰਖੈ ਸੰਗਾਨੈ ॥
pir dhanah sīgār rakhai sangānai .
The husband adorns his bride, and keeps her with himself.
ਮਿਲਿ ਏਕਤ੍ਰ ਵਸਹਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਦੇ ਧਨਹਿ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਹੇ ॥੨॥
mil ēkatr vasah din rātī priu dē dhanah dilāsā hē .2.
Joining together, they live in harmony day and night; the husband comforts his wife. ||2||
ਧਨ ਮਾਗੈ ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
dhan māgai priu bah bidh dhāvai .
When the bride asks, the husband runs around in all sorts of ways.
ਜੋ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਆਣਿ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥
jō pāvai sō ān dikhāvai .
Whatever he finds, he brings to show his bride.
ਏਕ ਵਸਤੁ ਕਉ ਪਹੁਚਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਧਨ ਰਹਤੀ ਭੂਖ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਹੇ ॥੩॥
ēk vasat kau pahuch n sākai dhan rahatī bhūkh piāsā hē .3.
But there is one thing he cannot reach, and so his bride remains hungry and thirsty. ||3||
ਧਨ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਨਉ ਦੋਊ ਕਰ ਜੋਰੈ ॥
dhan karai binau dōū kar jōrai .
With her palms pressed together, the bride offers her prayer,
ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪਰਦੇਸਿ ਨ ਜਾਹੁ ਵਸਹੁ ਘਰਿ ਮੋਰੈ ॥
pri paradēs n jāh vasah ghar mōrai .
"O my beloved, do not leave me and go to foreign lands; please stay here with me.
ਐਸਾ ਬਣਜੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਉਤਰੈ ਭੂਖ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਹੇ ॥੪॥
aisā banaj karah grih bhītar jit utarai bhūkh piāsā hē .4.
Do such business within our home, that my hunger and thirst may be relieved."||4||
ਸਗਲੇ ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਜੁਗ ਸਾਧਾ ॥
sagalē karam dharam jug sādhā .
All sorts of religious rituals are performed in this age,
ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸ ਸੁਖੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਲਾਧਾ ॥
bin har ras sukh til nahī lādhā .
but without the sublime essence of the Lord, not an iota of peace is found.
ਭਈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਸੰਗੇ ਤਉ ਧਨ ਪਿਰ ਅਨੰਦ ਉਲਾਸਾ ਹੇ ॥੫॥
bhaī kripā nānak satasangē tau dhan pir anand ulāsā hē .5.
When the Lord becomes Merciful, O Nanak, then in the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, the bride and the husband enjoy ecstasy and bliss. ||5||
