ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੀਵਹੁ ਅਮਰ ਫਲ ਖਾਹੁ ॥੧੦॥
jug jug jīvah amar phal khāh .10.
you shall live throughout the ages, eating the fruit of immortality. ||10||
ਦਸਮੀ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਦ ॥
dasamī dah dis hōi anand .
On the tenth day of the lunar cycle, there is ecstasy in all directions.
ਛੂਟੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥
shūtai bharam milai gōbind .
Doubt is dispelled, and the Lord of the Universe is met.
ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਤਤ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
jōt sarūpī tat anūp .
He is the Embodiment of light, the incomparable essence.
ਅਮਲ ਨ ਮਲ ਨ ਛਾਹ ਨਹੀ ਧੂਪ ॥੧੧॥
amal n mal n shāh nahī dhūp .11.
He is stainless, without stain, beyond both sunshine and shade. ||11||
ਏਕਾਦਸੀ ਏਕ ਦਿਸ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
ēkādasī ēk dis dhāvai .
On the eleventh day of the lunar cycle, if you run in the direction of the One,
ਤਉ ਜੋਨੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
tau jōnī sankat bahur n āvai .
you will not have to suffer the pains of reincarnation again.
ਸੀਤਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭਇਆ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
sītal niramal bhaiā sarīrā .
Your body will become cool, immaculate and pure.
ਦੂਰਿ ਬਤਾਵਤ ਪਾਇਆ ਨੀਰਾ ॥੧੨॥
dūr batāvat pāiā nīrā .12.
The Lord was said to be far away, but He is found near at hand. ||12||
ਬਾਰਸਿ ਬਾਰਹ ਉਗਵੈ ਸੂਰ ॥
bāras bārah ugavai sūr .
On the twelfth day of the lunar cycle, twelve suns rise.

ਪੰਦ੍ਰਹ ਥਿਤੀੰ ਸਾਤ ਵਾਰ ॥
pandrah thitīn sāt vār .
There are fifteen lunar days, and seven days of the week.
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਉਰਵਾਰ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥
kah kabīr uravār n pār .
Says Kabeer, it is neither here nor there.
ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਬਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰ ॥
ahinis bājē anahad tūr .
Day and night, the celestial bugles vibrate the unstruck melody.
ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਕਾ ਪੀਉ ॥
dēkhiā tihūn lōk kā pīu .
Then, one beholds the Father of the three worlds.
ਅਚਰਜੁ ਭਇਆ ਜੀਵ ਤੇ ਸੀਉ ॥੧੩॥
acharaj bhaiā jīv tē sīu .13.
This is wonderful! The human being has become God! ||13||
ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ ਲਖੈ ਜਉ ਭੇਉ ॥
sādhik sidh lakhai jau bhēu .
When the Siddhas and seekers come to know the Lord's mystery,
ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਉ ॥੧॥
āpē karatā āpē dēu .1.
they themselves become the Creator; they themselves become the Divine Lord. ||1||

ਅੰਮਾਵਸ ਮਹਿ ਆਸ ਨਿਵਾਰਹੁ ॥
anmāvas mah ās nivārah .
On the day of the new moon, give up your hopes.
ਤੇਰਸਿ ਤੇਰਹ ਅਗਮ ਬਖਾਣਿ ॥
tēras tērah agam bakhān .
On the thirteenth day of the lunar cycle, the thirteen holy books proclaim
ਅਰਧ ਉਰਧ ਬਿਚਿ ਸਮ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਿ ॥
aradh uradh bich sam pahichān .
that you must recognize the Lord in the nether regions of the underworld as well as the heavens.
ਨੀਚ ਊਚ ਨਹੀ ਮਾਨ ਅਮਾਨ ॥
nīch ūch nahī mān amān .
There is no high or low, no honor or dishonor.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਰਹੁ ॥
antarajāmī rām samārah .
Remember the Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
ਜੀਵਤ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰ ॥
jīvat pāvah mōkh duār .
You shall attain the Gate of Liberation while yet alive.
ਅਨਭਉ ਸਬਦੁ ਤਤੁ ਨਿਜੁ ਸਾਰ ॥੧॥
anabhau sabad tat nij sār .1.
You shall come to know the Shabad, the Word of the Fearless Lord, and the essence of your own inner being. ||1||
ਬਿਆਪਿਕ ਰਾਮ ਸਗਲ ਸਾਮਾਨ ॥੧੪॥
biāpik rām sagal sāmān .14.
The Lord is pervading and permeating all. ||14||
ਚਉਦਸਿ ਚਉਦਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਝਾਰਿ ॥
chaudas chaudah lōk majhār .
On the fourteenth day of the lunar cycle, in the fourteen worlds
ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਮਹਿ ਬਸਹਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥
rōm rōm mah basah murār .
and on each and every hair, the Lord abides.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
charan kamal gōbind rang lāgā .
One who enshrines love for the Lotus Feet of the Lord of the Universe
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭਏ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਾਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sant prasād bhaē man niramal har kīratan mah anadin jāgā .1. rahāu .
- by the Grace of the Saints, her mind becomes pure; night and day, she remains awake and aware, singing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਕਾ ਧਰਹੁ ਧਿਆਨ ॥
sat santōkh kā dharah dhiān .
Center yourself and meditate on truth and contentment.
ਕਥਨੀ ਕਥੀਐ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨ ॥੧੫॥
kathanī kathīai braham giān .15.
Speak the speech of God's spiritual wisdom. ||15||
ਪੂਨਿਉ ਪੂਰਾ ਚੰਦ ਅਕਾਸ ॥
pūniu pūrā chand akās .
On the day of the full moon, the full moon fills the heavens.
ਪਸਰਹਿ ਕਲਾ ਸਹਜ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
pasarah kalā sahaj paragās .
Its power is diffused through its gentle light.
ਪਰਿਵਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਕਰਹੁ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥
parivā prītam karah bīchār .
On the first day of the lunar cycle, contemplate the Beloved Lord.
ਘਟ ਮਹਿ ਖੇਲੈ ਅਘਟ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
ghat mah khēlai aghat apār .
He is playing within the heart; He has no body - He is Infinite.
ਕਾਲ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਖਾਇ ॥
kāl kalapanā kadē n khāi .
The pain of death never consumes that person
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਹੋਇ ਰਹਿਆ ਥੀਰ ॥
ād ant madh hōi rahiā thīr .
In the beginning, in the end, and in the middle, God remains firm and steady.
ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਮਹਿ ਰਮਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ॥੧੬॥
sukh sāgar mah ramah kabīr .16.
Kabeer is immersed in the ocean of peace. ||16||
ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਮਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੨॥
ād purakh mah rahai samāi .2.
who remains absorbed in the Primal Lord God. ||2||
ਦੁਤੀਆ ਦੁਹ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੈ ਅੰਗ ॥
dutīā duh kar jānai ang .
On the second day of the lunar cycle, know that there are two beings within the fiber of the body.
ਮਾਇਆ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਰਮੈ ਸਭ ਸੰਗ ॥
māiā braham ramai sabh sang .
Maya and God are blended with everything.
ਨਾ ਓਹੁ ਬਢੈ ਨ ਘਟਤਾ ਜਾਇ ॥
nā ōh badhai n ghatatā jāi .
God does not increase or decrease.
ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਏਕੈ ਭਾਇ ॥੩॥
akul niranjan ēkai bhāi .3.
He is unknowable and immaculate; He does not change. ||3||
ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਆ ਤੀਨੇ ਸਮ ਕਰਿ ਲਿਆਵੈ ॥
tritīā tīnē sam kar liāvai .
On the third day of the lunar cycle, one who maintains his equilibrium amidst the three modes
ਆਨਦ ਮੂਲ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
ānad mūl param pad pāvai .
finds the source of ecstasy and the highest status.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਉਪਜੈ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸ ॥
sādhasangat upajai bisvās .
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, faith wells up.
ਬਾਹਰਿ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥੪॥
bāhar bhītar sadā pragās .4.
Outwardly, and deep within, God's Light is always radiant. ||4||
ਚਉਥਹਿ ਚੰਚਲ ਮਨ ਕਉ ਗਹਹੁ ॥
chauthah chanchal man kau gahah .
On the fourth day of the lunar cycle, restrain your fickle mind,
ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਬਹਹੁ ॥
kām krōdh sang kabah n bahah .
and do not ever associate with sexual desire or anger.
ਜਲ ਥਲ ਮਾਹੇ ਆਪਹਿ ਆਪ ॥
jal thal māhē āpah āp .
On land and sea, He Himself is in Himself.
ਆਪੈ ਜਪਹੁ ਆਪਨਾ ਜਾਪ ॥੫॥
āpai japah āpanā jāp .5.
He Himself meditates and chants His Chant. ||5||
ਪਾਂਚੈ ਪੰਚ ਤਤ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ॥
pānhchai panch tat bisathār .
On the fifth day of the lunar cycle, the five elements expand outward.
ਕਨਿਕ ਕਾਮਿਨੀ ਜੁਗ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ॥
kanik kāminī jug biuhār .
Men are occupied in the pursuit of gold and women.
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੁਧਾ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
prēm sudhā ras pīvai kōi .
How rare are those who drink in the pure essence of the Lord's Love.
ਜਰਾ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਫੇਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੬॥
jarā maran dukh phēr n hōi .6.
They shall never again suffer the pains of old age and death. ||6||
ਛਠਿ ਖਟੁ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਛਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਧਾਇ ॥
shath khat chakr shahūn dis dhāi .
On the sixth day of the lunar cycle, the six chakras run in six directions.
ਬਿਨੁ ਪਰਚੈ ਨਹੀ ਥਿਰਾ ਰਹਾਇ ॥
bin parachai nahī thirā rahāi .
Without enlightenment, the body does not remain steady.
ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਮੇਟਿ ਖਿਮਾ ਗਹਿ ਰਹਹੁ ॥
dubidhā mēt khimā gah rahah .
So erase your duality and hold tight to forgiveness,
ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਸੂਲ ਨ ਸਹਹੁ ॥੭॥
karam dharam kī sūl n sahah .7.
and you will not have to endure the torture of karma or religious rituals. ||7||
ਸਾਤੈਂ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਚਾ ਜਾਣਿ ॥
sātainh sat kar bāchā jān .
On the seventh day of the lunar cycle, know the Word as True,
ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਲੇਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਣਿ ॥
ātam rām lēh paravān .
and you shall be accepted by the Lord, the Supreme Soul.
ਛੂਟੈ ਸੰਸਾ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਦੁਖ ॥
shūtai sansā mit jāh dukh .
Your doubts shall be eradicated, and your pains eliminated,
ਸੁੰਨ ਸਰੋਵਰਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਖ ॥੮॥
sunn sarōvar pāvah sukh .8.
and in the ocean of the celestial void, you shall find peace. ||8||
ਅਸਟਮੀ ਅਸਟ ਧਾਤੁ ਕੀ ਕਾਇਆ ॥
asatamī asat dhāt kī kāiā .
On the eighth day of the lunar cycle, the body is made of the eight ingredients.
ਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਅਕੁਲ ਮਹਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥
tā mah akul mahā nidh rāiā .
Within it is the Unknowable Lord, the King of the supreme treasure.
ਗੁਰ ਗਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਬਤਾਵੈ ਭੇਦ ॥
gur gam giān batāvai bhēd .
The Guru, who knows this spiritual wisdom, reveals the secret of this mystery.
ਉਲਟਾ ਰਹੈ ਅਭੰਗ ਅਛੇਦ ॥੯॥
ulatā rahai abhang ashēd .9.
Turning away from the world, He abides in the Unbreakable and Impenetrable Lord. ||9||
ਨਉਮੀ ਨਵੈ ਦੁਆਰ ਕਉ ਸਾਧਿ ॥
naumī navai duār kau sādh .
On the ninth day of the lunar cycle, discipline the nine gates of the body.
ਬਹਤੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਬਾਂਧਿ ॥
bahatī manasā rākhah bānhdh .
Keep your pulsating desires restrained.
ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਸਭ ਬੀਸਰਿ ਜਾਹੁ ॥
lōbh mōh sabh bīsar jāh .
Forget all your greed and emotional attachment;
