ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥

salōk .

Shalok:

ਚਾਰਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਚਉਦਹ ਭਵਨ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਆਪਤ ਰਾਮ ॥

chār kunt chaudah bhavan sagal biāpat rām .

The Lord is pervading in all the four directions and the fourteen worlds.

ਨਾਨਕ ਊਨ ਨ ਦੇਖੀਐ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਮ ॥੧੪॥

nānak ūn n dēkhīai pūran tā kē kām .14.

O Nanak, He is not seen to be lacking anything; His works are perfectly complete. ||14||

Pauree:

ਚਉਦਹਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪ ॥

chaudah chār kunt prabh āp .

The fourteenth day of the lunar cycle: God Himself is in all four directions.

ਸਗਲ ਭਵਨ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥

sagal bhavan pūran paratāp .

On all worlds, His radiant glory is perfect.

ਦਸੇ ਦਿਸਾ ਰਵਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੁ ॥

dasē disā raviā prabh ēk .

The One God is diffused in the ten directions.

ਧਰਨਿ ਅਕਾਸ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੇਖੁ ॥

dharan akās sabh mah prabh pēkh .

Behold God in all the earth and sky.

ਜਲ ਥਲ ਬਨ ਪਰਬਤ ਪਾਤਾਲ ॥

jal thal ban parabat pātāl .

In the water, on the land, in the forests and mountains, and in the nether regions of the underworld,

ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਤਹ ਬਸਹਿ ਦਇਆਲ ॥

paramēsvar tah basah daiāl .

the Merciful Transcendent Lord is abiding.

ਸੂਖਮ ਅਸਥੂਲ ਸਗਲ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥

sūkham asathūl sagal bhagavān .

The Lord God is in all mind and matter, subtle and manifest.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੧੪॥

nānak guramukh braham pashān .14.

O Nanak, the Gurmukh realizes God. ||14||
