ਓਰੈ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਕਿਨਹੂ ਕੀਆ ॥
ōrai kashū n kinahū kīā .
In this world, no one accomplishes anything by himself.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਭੁ ਕਛੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇ ਹੂਆ ॥੫੧॥
nānak sabh kash prabh tē hūā .51.
O Nanak, everything is done by God. ||51||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਬੋਲਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਵੂਠੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
har har mukh tē bōlanā man vūthai sukh hōi .
Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and keeping it in your mind, you shall find peace.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥
nānak sabh mah rav rahiā thān thanantar sōi .1.
O Nanak, the Lord is pervading everywhere; He is contained in all spaces and interspaces. ||1||

ਹੇਰਉ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਗਲ ਕੈ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥
hērau ghat ghat sagal kai pūr rahē bhagavān .
Behold! The Lord God is totally pervading each and every heart.
ਹੋਵਤ ਆਏ ਸਦ ਸਦੀਵ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ॥
hōvat āē sad sadīv dukh bhanjan gur giān .
Forever and ever, the Guru's wisdom has been the Destroyer of pain.
ਹਉ ਛੁਟਕੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਤਿਹ ਹਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਹ ਆਪਿ ॥
hau shutakai hōi anand tih hau nāhī tah āp .
Quieting the ego, ecstasy is obtained. Where the ego does not exist, God Himself is there.
ਹਤੇ ਦੂਖ ਜਨਮਹ ਮਰਨ ਸੰਤਸੰਗ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥
hatē dūkh janamah maran santasang paratāp .
The pain of birth and death is removed, by the power of the Society of the Saints.
ਹਿਤ ਕਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੈ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥ ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੋਤ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥
hit kar nām drirai daiālā . santah sang hōt kirapālā .
He becomes kind to those who lovingly enshrine the Name of the Merciful Lord within their hearts, in the Society of the Saints.
