ਲਾਲ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਥਾਹ ॥
lāl gupāl gōbind prabh gahir ganbhīr athāh .
My Beloved God, the Sustainer of the World, the Lord of the Universe, is deep, profound and unfathomable.
ਦੂਸਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਵਰ ਕੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ॥੧॥
dūsar nāhī avar kō nānak bēparavāh .1.
There is no other like Him; O Nanak, He is not worried. ||1||

Pauree:
ਲਲਾ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਲਵੈ ਨ ਕੋਊ ॥
lalā tā kai lavai n kōū .
LALLA: There is no one equal to Him.
ਏਕਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਅਵਰ ਨਹ ਹੋਊ ॥
ēkah āp avar nah hōū .
He Himself is the One; there shall never be any other.
ਹੋਵਨਹਾਰੁ ਹੋਤ ਸਦ ਆਇਆ ॥
hōvanahār hōt sad āiā .
He is now, He has been, and He shall always be.
ਉਆ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
uā kā ant n kāhū pāiā .
No one has ever found His limit.
ਕੀਟ ਹਸਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਪੂਰ ਸਮਾਨੇ ॥
kīt hasat mah pūr samānē .
In the ant and in the elephant, He is totally pervading.
ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਭ ਠਾਊ ਜਾਨੇ ॥
pragat purakh sabh thāū jānē .
The Lord, the Primal Being, is known by everyone everywhere.
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਦੀਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
jā kau dīnō har ras apanā .
That one, unto whom the Lord has given His Love
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਜਪਨਾ ॥੧੨॥
nānak guramukh har har tih japanā .12.
- O Nanak, that Gurmukh chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||12||
