Shalok:
ਟੂਟੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਜਾਸੁ ਕੇ ਹੋਆ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ॥
tūtē bandhan jās kē hōā sādhū sang .
One whose bonds are cut away joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਜੋ ਰਾਤੇ ਰੰਗ ਏਕ ਕੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੂੜਾ ਰੰਗੁ ॥੧॥
jō rātē rang ēk kai nānak gūrā rang .1.
Those who are imbued with the Love of the One Lord, O Nanak, take on the deep and lasting color of His Love. ||1||

Pauree:
ਰਾਰਾ ਰੰਗਹੁ ਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
rārā rangah iā man apanā .
RARRA: Dye this heart of yours in the color of the Lord's Love.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਜਪੁ ਰਸਨਾ ॥
har har nām japah jap rasanā .
Meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har - chant it with your tongue.
ਰੇ ਰੇ ਦਰਗਹ ਕਹੈ ਨ ਕੋਊ ॥
rē rē daragah kahai n kōū .
In the Court of the Lord, no one shall speak harshly to you.
ਆਉ ਬੈਠੁ ਆਦਰੁ ਸੁਭ ਦੇਊ ॥
āu baith ādar subh dēū .
Everyone shall welcome you, saying, "Come, and sit down."
ਉਆ ਮਹਲੀ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਤੂ ਬਾਸਾ ॥
uā mahalī pāvah tū bāsā .
In that Mansion of the Lord's Presence, you shall find a home.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਨਹ ਹੋਇ ਬਿਨਾਸਾ ॥
janam maran nah hōi bināsā .
There is no birth or death, or destruction there.
ਮਸਤਕਿ ਕਰਮੁ ਲਿਖਿਓ ਧੁਰਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ॥
masatak karam likhiō dhur jā kai .
One who has such karma written on his forehead,
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਪੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਘਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੈ ॥੧੦॥
har sanpai nānak ghar tā kai .10.
O Nanak, has the wealth of the Lord in his home. ||10||
