ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੀਐ ॥
har har har ārādhīai .
Worship and adore the Lord, Har, Har, Har.
ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਭਉ ਸਾਧੀਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
santasang har man vasai bharam mōh bhau sādhīai .1. rahāu .
In the Society of the Saints, He dwells in the mind; doubt, emotional attachment and fear are vanquished. ||1||Pause||
ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਭਨੇ ॥
bēd purān simrit bhanē .
The Vedas, the Puraanas and the Simritees are heard to proclaim
ਸਭ ਊਚ ਬਿਰਾਜਿਤ ਜਨ ਸੁਨੇ ॥੧॥
sabh ūch birājit jan sunē .1.
that the Lord's servant dwells as the highest of all. ||1||
ਸਗਲ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਭੈ ਭੀਤ ਚੀਨ ॥
sagal asathān bhai bhīt chīn .
All places are filled with fear - know this well.
ਰਾਮ ਸੇਵਕ ਭੈ ਰਹਤ ਕੀਨ ॥੨॥
rām sēvak bhai rahat kīn .2.
Only the Lord's servants are free of fear. ||2||
ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਜੋਨਿ ਫਿਰਹਿ ॥
lakh chaurāsīh jōn phirah .
People wander through 8.4 million incarnations.
ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਲੋਕ ਨਹੀ ਜਨਮਿ ਮਰਹਿ ॥੩॥
gōbind lōk nahī janam marah .3.
God's people are not subject to birth and death. ||3||
ਬਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਹਉਮੈ ਰਹੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧ ਸਰਣਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗਹੀ ॥੪॥੬॥੧੪੪॥
bal budh siānap haumai rahī . har sādh saran nānak gahī .4.6.144.
Nanak has taken to the Sanctuary of the Lord's Holy Saints; he has given up power, wisdom, cleverness and egotism. ||4||6||144||
