Gauree, Fifth Mehl:
ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਣਿ ਜੋ ਜਨ ਗੀਧੇ ॥
rām rasāin jō jan gīdhē .
Those humble beings who are accustomed to the Lord's sublime essence,
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤੀ ਬੀਧੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
charan kamal prēm bhagatī bīdhē .1. rahāu .
are pierced through with loving devotional worship of the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||1||Pause||
ਆਨ ਰਸਾ ਦੀਸਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਛਾਰੁ ॥
ān rasā dīsah sabh shār .
All other pleasures look like ashes;
ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥੧॥
nām binā nihaphal sansār .1.
without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the world is fruitless. ||1||
ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਤੇ ਕਾਢੇ ਆਪਿ ॥
andh kūp tē kādhē āp .
He Himself rescues us from the deep dark well.
ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਚਰਜ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥੨॥
gun gōvind acharaj paratāp .2.
Wondrous and Glorious are the Praises of the Lord of the Universe. ||2||
ਵਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
van trin tribhavan pūran gōpāl .
In the woods and meadows, and throughout the three worlds, the Sustainer of the Universe is pervading.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਸਾਰੁ ਜੀਅ ਸੰਗਿ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੩॥
braham pasār jī sang daiāl .3.
The Expansive Lord God is Merciful to all beings. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾ ਕਥਨੀ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
kah nānak sā kathanī sār .
Says Nanak, that speech alone is excellent,
ਮਾਨਿ ਲੇਤੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰੁ ॥੪॥੯੪॥੧੬੩॥
mān lēt jis sirajanahār .4.94.163.
which is approved by the Creator Lord. ||4||94||163||
