Gauree, Fifth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
har charanī jā kā man lāgā .
Those who keep their minds attached to the Lord's Feet
ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
dūkh darad bhram tā kā bhāgā .1.
- pain, suffering and doubt run away from them. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਧਨ ਕੋ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ਪੂਰਾ ॥
har dhan kō vāpārī pūrā .
Those who deal in the Lord's wealth are perfect.
ਜਿਸਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਸੂਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jisah nivājē sō jan sūrā .1. rahāu .
Those who are honored by the Lord are the true spiritual heroes. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥
jā kau bhaē kripāl gusāī .
Those humble beings, unto whom the Lord of the Universe shows mercy,
ਸੇ ਜਨ ਲਾਗੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥
sē jan lāgē gur kī pāī .2.
fall at the Guru's Feet. ||2||
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਨੰਦਾ ॥
sūkh sahaj sānht ānandā .
They are blessed with peace, celestial bliss, tranquility and ecstasy;
ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੩॥
jap jap jīvē paramānandā .3.
chanting and meditating, they live in supreme bliss. ||3||
ਨਾਮ ਰਾਸਿ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਾਟੀ ॥
nām rās sādh sang khātī .
In the Saadh Sangat, I have earned the wealth of the Naam.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਦਾ ਕਾਟੀ ॥੪॥੭੪॥੧੪੩॥
kah nānak prabh apadā kātī .4.74.143.
Says Nanak, God has relieved my pain. ||4||74||143||
