Gauree, Fifth Mehl:
ਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
gur jī kē darasan kau bal jāu .
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.
ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥
jap jap jīvā satigur nāu .1.
Chanting and meditating on the Name of the True Guru, I live. ||1||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥
pārabraham pūran guradēv .
O Supreme Lord God, O Perfect Divine Guru,
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲਾਗਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kar kirapā lāgau tērī sēv .1. rahāu .
show mercy to me, and commit me to Your service. ||1||Pause||
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
charan kamal hiradai ur dhārī .
I enshrine His Lotus Feet within my heart.
ਮਨ ਤਨ ਧਨ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
man tan dhan gur prān adhārī .2.
I offer my mind, body and wealth to the Guru, the Support of the breath of life. ||2||
ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
saphal janam hōvai paravān .
My life is prosperous, fruitful and approved;
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥੩॥
gur pārabraham nikat kar jān .3.
I know that the Guru, the Supreme Lord God, is near me. ||3||
ਸੰਤ ਧੂਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
sant dhūr pāīai vadabhāgī .
By great good fortune, I have obtained the dust of the feet of the Saints.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟਤ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੪॥੭੦॥੧੩੯॥
nānak gur bhētat har siu liv lāgī .4.70.139.
O Nanak, meeting the Guru, I have fallen in love with the Lord. ||4||70||139||
