Gauree, Fifth Mehl:
ਭਲੇ ਦਿਨਸ ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥
bhalē dinas bhalē sanjōg .
Auspicious is the day, and auspicious is the chance,
ਜਿਤੁ ਭੇਟੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨਿਰਜੋਗ ॥੧॥
jit bhētē pārabraham nirajōg .1.
which brought me to the Supreme Lord God, the Unjoined, Unlimited One. ||1||
ਓਹ ਬੇਲਾ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
ōh bēlā kau hau bal jāu .
I am a sacrifice to that time,
ਜਿਤੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਜਪੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jit mērā man japai har nāu .1. rahāu .
when my mind chants the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਸਫਲ ਮੂਰਤੁ ਸਫਲ ਓਹ ਘਰੀ ॥
saphal mūrat saphal ōh gharī .
Blessed is that moment, and blessed is that time,
ਜਿਤੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਉਚਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੀ ॥੨॥
jit rasanā ucharai har harī .2.
when my tongue chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Haree. ||2||
ਸਫਲੁ ਓਹੁ ਮਾਥਾ ਸੰਤ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਸਿ ॥
saphal ōh māthā sant namasakāras .
Blessed is that forehead, which bows in humility to the Saints.
ਚਰਣ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਚਲਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਗਿ ॥੩॥
charan punīt chalah har mārag .3.
Sacred are those feet, which walk on the Lord's Path. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਲਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਰਮ ॥
kah nānak bhalā mērā karam .
Says Nanak, auspicious is my karma,
ਜਿਤੁ ਭੇਟੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ॥੪॥੬੦॥੧੨੯॥
jit bhētē sādhū kē charan .4.60.129.
which has led me to touch the Feet of the Holy. ||4||60||129||
