ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Gauree, Fifth Mehl:
ਏਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ॥
ēkas siu jā kā man rātā .
Those whose minds are imbued with the One Lord,
ਵਿਸਰੀ ਤਿਸੈ ਪਰਾਈ ਤਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
visarī tisai parāī tātā .1.
forget to feel jealous of others. ||1||
ਬਿਨੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ਕੋਈ ॥
bin gōbind n dīsai kōī .
They see none other than the Lord of the Universe.
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਕਰਤਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
karan karāvan karatā sōī .1. rahāu .
The Creator is the Doer, the Cause of causes. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨਹਿ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲੈ ॥
manah kamāvai mukh har har bōlai .
Those who work willingly, and chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har
ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਇਤ ਉਤ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਡੋਲੈ ॥੨॥
sō jan it ut katah n dōlai .2.
- they do not waver, here or hereafter. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਸੋ ਸਚ ਸਾਹੁ ॥
jā kai har dhan sō sach sāh .
Those who possess the wealth of the Lord are the true bankers.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੋ ਵਿਸਾਹੁ ॥੩॥
gur pūrai kar dīnō visāh .3.
The Perfect Guru has established their line of credit. ||3||
ਜੀਵਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥
jīvan purakh miliā har rāiā .
The Giver of life, the Sovereign Lord King meets them.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੪੮॥੧੧੭॥
kah nānak param pad pāiā .4.48.117.
Says Nanak, they attain the supreme status. ||4||48||117||
