Kalyaan, Fifth Mehl:
ਜਾਚਿਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਜਾਚੈ ॥
jāchik nām jāchai jāchai .
This beggar begs and begs for Your Name, Lord.
ਸਰਬ ਧਾਰ ਸਰਬ ਕੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੁਖ ਸਮੂਹ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sarab dhār sarab kē nāik sukh samūh kē dātē .1. rahāu .
You are the Support of all, the Master of all, the Giver of absolute peace. ||1||Pause||
ਕੇਤੀ ਕੇਤੀ ਮਾਂਗਨਿ ਮਾਗੈ ਭਾਵਨੀਆ ਸੋ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧॥
kētī kētī mānhgan māgai bhāvanīā sō pāīai .1.
So many, so very many, beg for charity at Your Door; they receive only what You are pleased to give. ||1||
ਸਫਲ ਸਫਲ ਸਫਲ ਦਰਸੁ ਰੇ ਪਰਸਿ ਪਰਸਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਈਐ ॥
saphal saphal saphal daras rē paras paras gun gāīai .
Fruitful, fruitful, fruitful is the Blessed Vision of His Darshan; touching His Touch, I sing His Glorious Praises.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਤ ਤਤ ਸਿਉ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਹੀਰੈ ਹੀਰੁ ਬਿਧਾਈਐ ॥੨॥੨॥
nānak tat tat siu milīai hīrai hīr bidhāīai .2.2.
O Nanak, one's essence is blended into the Essence; the diamond of the mind is pierced through by the Diamond of the Lord. ||2||2||
