ਕਾਨੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl:
ਧਨਿ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਚਰਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
dhan uh prīt charan sang lāgī .
Blessed is that love, which is attuned to the Lord's Feet.
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਾਪ ਤਾਪ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ਆਇ ਮਿਲੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਡਭਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kōt jāp tāp sukh pāē āi milē pūran badabhāgī .1. rahāu .
The peace which comes from millions of chants and deep meditations is obtained by perfect good fortune and destiny. ||1||Pause||
ਮੋਹਿ ਅਨਾਥੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਜਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਅਵਰ ਓਟ ਸਗਲੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਤਿਆਗੀ ॥
mōh anāth dās jan tērā avar ōt sagalī mōh tiāgī .
I am Your helpless servant and slave; I have given up all other support.
ਭੋਰ ਭਰਮ ਕਾਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੋਵਤ ਜਾਗੀ ॥੧॥
bhōr bharam kātē prabh simarat giān anjan mil sōvat jāgī .1.
Every trace of doubt has been eradicated, remembering God in meditation. I have applied the ointment of spiritual wisdom, and awakened from my sleep. ||1||
ਤੂ ਅਥਾਹੁ ਅਤਿ ਬਡੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਰਤਨਾਗੀ ॥
tū athāh at badō suāmī kripā sindh pūran ratanāgī .
You are Unfathomably Great and Utterly Vast, O my Lord and Master, Ocean of Mercy, Source of Jewels.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਮਸਤਕੁ ਆਨਿ ਧਰਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਗੀ ॥੨॥੭॥੧੮॥
nānak jāchak har har nām mānhgai masatak ān dhariō prabh pāgī .2.7.18.
Nanak, the beggar, begs for the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; he rests his forehead upon God's Feet. ||2||7||18||
