ਜਨ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਓਇ ਊਤਮ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇਨ ॥੩॥
jan kī mahimā baran n sākau ōi ūtam har har kēn .3.
I cannot even describe the noble grandeur of such humble beings; the Lord, Har, Har, has made them sublime and exalted. ||3||
ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਹ ਵਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਵਣਜਾਰੇ ਰਾਸਿ ਦੇਨ ॥
tumh har sāh vadē prabh suāmī ham vanajārē rās dēn .
You, Lord are the Great Merchant-Banker; O God, my Lord and Master, I am just a poor peddler; please bless me with the wealth.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਦਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਲਦਿ ਵਾਖਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲੇਨ ॥੪॥੨॥
jan nānak kau daiā prabh dhārah lad vākhar har har lēn .4.2.
Please bestow Your Kindness and Mercy upon servant Nanak, God, so that he may load up the merchandise of the Lord, Har, Har. ||4||2||

Kaanraa, Fourth Mehl:
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਪਗ ਰੇਨ ॥
mērā man sant janā pag rēn .
My mind is the dust of the feet of the Saints.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਨੁ ਕੋਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਭੇਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har har kathā sunī mil sangat man kōrā har rang bhēn .1. rahāu .
Joining the Sangat, the Congregation, I listen to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har. My crude and uncultured mind is drenched with the Love of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਹਮ ਅਚਿਤ ਅਚੇਤ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਸੁਚਿਤ ਚਿਤੇਨ ॥
ham achit achēt n jānah gat mit gur kīē suchit chitēn .
I am thoughtless and unconscious; I do not know God's state and extent. The Guru has made me thoughtful and conscious.
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਿ ਕੀਓ ਅੰਗੀਕ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੇਨ ॥੧॥
prabh dīn daiāl kīō angīkrit man har har nām japēn .1.
God is Merciful to the meek; He has made me His Own. My mind chants and meditates on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਕਟਿ ਦੇਵਉ ਹੀਅਰਾ ਤੇਨ ॥
har kē sant milah man prītam kat dēvau hīarā tēn .
Meeting with the Lord's Saints, the Beloveds of the mind, I would cut out my heart, and offer it to them.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਮ ਕੀਏ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਵੇਨ ॥੨॥
har kē sant milē har miliā ham kīē patit pavēn .2.
Meeting with the Lord's Saints, I meet with the Lord; this sinner has been sanctified. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਊਤਮ ਜਗਿ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪਾਥਰ ਸੇਨ ॥
har kē jan ūtam jag kahīah jin miliā pāthar sēn .
The humble servants of the Lord are said to be exalted in this world; meeting with them, even stones are softened.
