ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
prabh mērē prītam prān piārē .
My Beloved God is the Lover of my breath of life.
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਅਪਨੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
prēm bhagat apanō nām dījai daiāl anugrah dhārē .1. rahāu .
Please bless me with the loving devotional worship of the Naam, O Kind and Compassionate Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਉ ਚਰਨ ਤੁਹਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਰਿਦੈ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ਆਸਾ ॥
simarau charan tuhārē prītam ridai tuhārī āsā .
I meditate in remembrance on Your Feet, O my Beloved; my heart is filled with hope.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਉ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਮਨਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀ ਪਿਆਸਾ ॥੧॥
sant janā pah karau bēnatī man darasan kī piāsā .1.
I offer my prayer to the humble Saints; my mind thirsts for the Blssed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||1||
ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਮਰਨੁ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਤੇ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
bishurat maran jīvan har milatē jan kau darasan dījai .
Separation is death, and Union with the Lord is life. Please bless Your humble servant with Your Darshan.
ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਜੀਵਨ ਧਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੨॥੫॥੯॥
nām adhār jīvan dhan nānak prabh mērē kirapā kījai .2.5.9.
O my God, please be Merciful, and bless Nanak with the support, the life and wealth of the Naam. ||2||5||9||
