ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik ōunkār satigur prasād .
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੁਭ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲਿ ਗੁਨ ਅਮੋਲ ॥
subh bachan bōl gun amōl .
Chant His Sublime Word and His Priceless Glories.
ਕਿੰਕਰੀ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥
kinkarī bikār .
Why are you indulding in corrupt actions?
ਦੇਖੁ ਰੀ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥
dēkh rī bīchār .
Look at this, see and understand!
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
gur sabad dhiāi mahal pāi .
Meditate on the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and attain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਰੰਗ ਕਰਤੀ ਮਹਾ ਕੇਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har sang rang karatī mahā kēl .1. rahāu .
Imbued with the Love of the Lord, you shall totally play with Him. ||1||Pause||
ਸੁਪਨ ਰੀ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
supan rī sansār .
The world is a dream.
ਮਿਥਨੀ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੁ ॥
mithanī bisathār .
Its expanse is false.
ਸਖੀ ਕਾਇ ਮੋਹਿ ਮੋਹਿਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਮੇਲ ॥੧॥
sakhī kāi mōh mōhilī pri prīt ridai mēl .1.
O my companion, why are you so enticed by the Enticer? Enshrine the Love of Your Beloved within your heart. ||1||
ਸਰਬ ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
sarab rī prīt piār .
He is total love and affection.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਰੀ ਦਇਆਰੁ ॥
prabh sadā rī daiār .
God is always merciful.
ਕਾਂਏਂ ਆਨ ਆਨ ਰੁਚੀਐ ॥
kānhēnh ān ān ruchīai .
Others - why are you involved with others?
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਚੀਐ ॥
har sang sang khachīai .
Remain involved with the Lord.
ਜਉ ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਪਾਏ ॥
jau sādhasang pāē .
When you join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
kah nānak har dhiāē .
says Nanak, meditate on the Lord.
ਅਬ ਰਹੇ ਜਮਹਿ ਮੇਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੩੦॥
ab rahē jamah mēl .2.1.130.
Now, your association with death is ended. ||2||1||130||
