Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਮਾਈ ਰੀ ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਤਵਾਰੋ ॥
māī rī man mērō matavārō .
O mother, my mind is intoxicated.
ਪੇਖਿ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਨਦ ਸੁਖ ਪੂਰਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਪਿਓ ਖੁਮਾਰੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
pēkh daiāl anad sukh pūran har ras rapiō khumārō .1. rahāu .
Gazing upon the Merciful Lord, I am filled with bliss and peace; imbued with the sublime essence of the Lord, I am intoxicated. ||1||Pause||
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭਏ ਊਜਲ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਤ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਤ ਕਾਰੋ ॥
niramal bhaē ūjal jas gāvat bahur n hōvat kārō .
I have become spotless and pure, singing the Sacred Praises of the Lord; I shall never again be dirtied.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਿਉ ਡੋਰੀ ਰਾਚੀ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਪਾਰੋ ॥੧॥
charan kamal siu dōrī rāchī bhētiō purakh apārō .1.
My awareness is focused on the Lotus Feet of God; I have met the Infinite, Supreme Being. ||1||
ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਲੀਨੇ ਸਰਬਸੁ ਦੀਨੇ ਦੀਪਕ ਭਇਓ ਉਜਾਰੋ ॥
kar gah līnē sarabas dīnē dīpak bhaiō ujārō .
Taking me by the hand, He has given me everything; He has lit up my lamp.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਸਿਕ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਕੁਲਹ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਤਾਰੋ ॥੨॥੮੭॥੧੧੦॥
nānak nām rasik bairāgī kulah samūhānh tārō .2.87.110.
O Nanak, savoring the Naam, the Name of the Lord, I have become detached; my generations have been carried across as well. ||2||87||110||
