Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਰਮਣ ਕਉ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਾਦ ॥
raman kau rām kē gun bād .
To chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord is Sublime.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਦ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sādhasang dhiāīai paramēsar anmrit jā kē suād .1. rahāu .
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, meditate on the Transcendent Lord God; The taste of His essence is Ambrosial Nectar. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਏਕੁ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਾਦ ॥
simarat ēk achut abināsī binasē māiā mād .
Meditating in remembrance on the One Unmoving, Eternal, Unchanging Lord God, the intoxication of Maya wears off.
ਸਹਜ ਅਨਦ ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਭਏ ਬਿਖਾਦ ॥੧॥
sahaj anad anahad dhun bānī bahur n bhaē bikhād .1.
One who is blessed with intuitive peace and poise, and the vibrations of the Unstruck Celestial Bani, never suffers again. ||1||
ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਗਾਵਤ ਗਾਵਤ ਸੁਕ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ॥
sanakādik brahamādik gāvat gāvat suk prahilād .
Even Brahma and his sons sing God's Praises; Sukdayv and Prahlaad sing His Praises as well.
ਪੀਵਤ ਅਮਿਉ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥੨॥੮੦॥੧੦੩॥
pīvat amiu manōhar har ras jap nānak har bisamād .2.80.103.
Drinking in the fascinating Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord's sublime essence, Nanak meditates on the Amazing Lord. ||2||80||103||
