Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਬਿਰਾਜਿਤ ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥
birājit rām kō paratāp .
The Glorious Radiance of the Lord has spread out everywhere.
ਆਧਿ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਉਪਾਧਿ ਸਭ ਨਾਸੀ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਤੀਨੈ ਤਾਪ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ādh biādh upādh sabh nāsī binasē tīnai tāp .1. rahāu .
The doubts of my mind and body are all erased, and I am rid of the three diseases. ||1||Pause||
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਬੁਝੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭ ਆਸਾ ਚੂਕੇ ਸੋਗ ਸੰਤਾਪ ॥
trisanā bujhī pūran sabh āsā chūkē sōg santāp .
My thirst is quenched, and my hopes have all been fulfilled; my sorrows and sufferings are over.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਆਤਮ ਧ੍ਰਾਪ ॥੧॥
gun gāvat achut abināsī man tan ātam dhrāp .1.
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Unmoving, Eternal, Unchanging Lord God, my mind, body and soul are comforted and encouraged. ||1||
ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਮਦ ਮਤਸਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਾਪ ॥
kām krōdh lōbh mad matasar sādhū kai sang khāp .
Sexual desire, anger, greed, pride and envy are destroyed in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਭੈ ਕਾਟਨਹਾਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੨॥੭੭॥੧੦੦॥
bhagat vashal bhai kātanahārē nānak kē māī bāp .2.77.100.
He is the Lover of His devotees, the Destroyer of fear; O Nanak, He is our Mother and Father. ||2||77||100||
