Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਜੀਵਤੁ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥
jīvat rām kē gun gāi .
I live by singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਕਰਹੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਬੀਠੁਲੇ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਨ ਕਬ ਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
karah kripā gōpāl bīthulē bisar n kab hī jāi .1. rahāu .
Please be Merciful to me, O my Loving Lord of the Universe, that I may never forget You. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਨ ਨ ਦੂਜੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
man tan dhan sabh tumarā suāmī ān n dūjī jāi .
My mind, body, wealth and all are Yours, O my Lord and Master; there is nowhere else for me at all.
ਜਿਉ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਤਿਵ ਹੀ ਰਹਣਾ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਰਾ ਪੈਨ੍ਹੈ ਖਾਇ ॥੧॥
jiu tū rākhah tiv hī rahanā tumharā painhai khāi .1.
As You keep me, so do I survive; I eat and I wear whatever You give me. ||1||
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਜਨਮਾ ਧਾਇ ॥
sādhasangat kai bal bal jāī bahur n janamā dhāi .
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; I shall never again fall into reincarnation.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਵੈ ਚਲਾਇ ॥੨॥੭੫॥੯੮॥
nānak dās tērī saranāī jiu bhāvai tivai chalāi .2.75.98.
Slave Nanak seeks Your Sancuary, Lord; as it pleases Your Will, so do You guide him. ||2||75||98||
