Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਬਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਹਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਘਰੀ ॥
bin prabh rahan n jāi gharī .
Without God, I cannot survive, even for an instant.
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਤਾਹੂ ਕੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੈ ਹਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sarab sūkh tāhū kai pūran jā kai sukh hai harī .1. rahāu .
One who finds joy in the Lord finds total peace and perfection. ||1||Pause||
ਮੰਗਲ ਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਜੀਵਨ ਧਨ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅਨਦ ਘਨਾ ॥
mangal rūp prān jīvan dhan simarat anad ghanā .
God is the Embodiment of bliss, the Breath of Life and Wealth; remembering Him in meditation, I am blessed with absolute bliss.
ਵਡ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਸੰਗੇ ਗੁਨ ਰਸਨਾ ਕਵਨ ਭਨਾ ॥੧॥
vad samarath sadā sad sangē gun rasanā kavan bhanā .1.
He is utterly All-powerful, with me forever and ever; what tongue can utter His Glorious Praises? ||1||
ਥਾਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਮਾਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੁਨਨ ਕਹਨਹਾਰੇ ॥
thān pavitrā mān pavitrā pavitr sunan kahanahārē .
His Place is sacred, and His Glory is sacred; sacred are those who listen and speak of Him.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਭਵਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਜਾ ਮਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੩੨॥੫੫॥
kah nānak tē bhavan pavitrā jā mah sant tumhārē .2.32.55.
Says Nanak, that dwelling is sacred, in which Your Saints live. ||2||32||55||
