Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਓਟ ਸਤਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਮੇਰੈ ॥
ōt satānī prabh jīu mērai .
I have the Almighty Support of my Dear Lord God.
ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਲਿਆਵਉ ਅਵਰ ਕਾਹੂ ਕਉ ਮਾਣਿ ਮਹਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
drisat n liāvau avar kāhū kau mān mahat prabh tērai .1. rahāu .
I do not look up to anyone else. My honor and glory are Yours, O God. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਆ ਬਿਖੁ ਘੇਰੈ ॥
angīkār kīō prabh apunai kādh līā bikh ghērai .
God has taken my side; He has lifted me up and pulled me out of the whirlpool of corruption.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਦੀਨੋ ਜਾਇ ਪਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਪੈਰੈ ॥੧॥
anmrit nām aukhadh mukh dīnō jāi paiā gur pairai .1.
He has poured the medicine of the Naam, the Ambrosial Name of the Lord, into my mouth; I have fallen at the Guru's Feet. ||1||
ਕਵਨ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਹਉ ਏਕ ਮੁਖ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇਰੈ ॥
kavan upamā kahau ēk mukh niragun kē dātērai .
How can I praise You with only one mouth? You are generous, even to the unworthy.
ਕਾਟਿ ਸਿਲਕ ਜਉ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਕੀਨੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੂਖ ਘਨੇਰੈ ॥੨॥੨੭॥੫੦॥
kāt silak jau apunā kīnō nānak sūkh ghanērai .2.27.50.
You cut away the noose, and now You own me; Nanak is blessed with myriad joys. ||2||27||50||
