Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
gur mil aisē prabhū dhiāiā .
Meeting the Guru, I meditate on God in such a way,
ਭਇਓ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਤਾਤੀ ਬਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bhaiō kripāl daiāl dukh bhanjan lagai n tātī bāiā .1. rahāu .
that He has become kind and compassionate to me. He is the Destroyer of pain; He does not allow the hot wind to even touch me. ||1||Pause||
ਜੇਤੇ ਸਾਸ ਸਾਸ ਹਮ ਲੇਤੇ ਤੇਤੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ॥
jētē sās sās ham lētē tētē hī gun gāiā .
With each and every breath I take, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਬਿਛੁਰੈ ਘਰੀ ਨ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਸਦ ਸੰਗੇ ਜਤ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
nimakh n bishurai gharī n bisarai sad sangē jat jāiā .1.
He is not separated from me, even for an instant, and I never forget Him. He is always with me, wherever I go. ||1||
ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ॥
hau bal bal bal bal charan kamal kau bal bal gur darasāiā .
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to His Lotus Feet. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਹੂ ਪਰਵਾਹਾ ਜਉ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਮੈ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੧੮॥੪੧॥
kah nānak kāhū paravāhā jau sukh sāgar mai pāiā .2.18.41.
Says Nanak, I do not care about anything else; I have found the Lord, the Ocean of peace. ||2||18||41||
