ਦਰਿ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
dar sāchai sach sōbhā hōi .
In the Court of the True Lord, he obtains true glory.
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਾਸਾ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥
nij ghar vāsā pāvai sōi .3.
He comes to dwell in the home of his own inner being. ||3||
ਆਪਿ ਅਭੁਲੁ ਸਚਾ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
āp abhul sachā sach sōi .
He cannot be fooled; He is the Truest of the True.
ਹੋਰਿ ਸਭਿ ਭੂਲਹਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਇ ॥
hōr sabh bhūlah dūjai pat khōi .
All others are deluded; in duality, they lose their honor.
ਸਾਚਾ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
sāchā sēvah sāchī bānī .
So serve the True Lord, through the True Bani of His Word.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੇ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥੪॥੯॥
nānak nāmē sāch samānī .4.9.
O Nanak, through the Naam, merge in the True Lord. ||4||9||

Basant, Third Mehl:
ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਕੁਲਾਂ ਕਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥
nām ratē kulānh kā karah udhār .
Those who are imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord - their generations are redeemed and saved.
ਸਾਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨਾਮ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
sāchī bānī nām piār .
True is their speech; they love the Naam.
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਭੂਲੇ ਕਾਹੇ ਆਏ ॥
manamukh bhūlē kāhē āē .
Why have the wandering self-willed manmukhs even come into the world?
ਨਾਮਹੁ ਭੂਲੇ ਜਨਮੁ ਗਵਾਏ ॥੧॥
nāmah bhūlē janam gavāē .1.
Forgetting the Naam, the mortals waste their lives away. ||1||
ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰੈ ਮਰਿ ਮਰਣੁ ਸਵਾਰੈ ॥
jīvat marai mar maran savārai .
One who dies while yet alive, truly dies, and embellishes his death.
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਾਚੁ ਉਰ ਧਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur kai sabad sāch ur dhārai .1. rahāu .
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, he enshrines the True Lord within his heart. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
guramukh sach bhōjan pavit sarīrā .
Truth is the food of the Gurmukh; his body is sanctified and pure.
ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸਦ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰਾ ॥
man niramal sad gunī gahīrā .
His mind is immaculate; he is forever the ocean of virtue.
ਜੰਮੈ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥
janmai marai n āvai jāi .
He is not forced to come and go in the cycle of birth and death.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੨॥
gur parasādī sāch samāi .2.
By Guru's Grace, he merges in the True Lord. ||2||
ਸਾਚਾ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਸਾਚੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥
sāchā sēvah sāch pashānai .
Serving the True Lord, one realizes Truth.
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਨੀਸਾਣੈ ॥
gur kai sabad har dar nīsānai .
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, he goes to the Lord's Court with his banners flying proudly.
