ਹੈ ਹਜੂਰਿ ਕਤ ਦੂਰਿ ਬਤਾਵਹੁ ॥
hai hajūr kat dūr batāvah .
God is present, right here at hand; why do you say that He is far away?
ਦੁੰਦਰ ਬਾਧਹੁ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dundar bādhah sundar pāvah .1. rahāu .
Tie up your disturbing passions, and find the Beauteous Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਕਾਜੀ ਸੋ ਜੁ ਕਾਇਆ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ॥
kājī sō j kāiā bīchārai .
He alone is a Qazi, who contemplates the human body,
ਕਾਇਆ ਕੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਜਾਰੈ ॥
kāiā kī agan braham parajārai .
and through the fire of the body, is illumined by God.
ਸੁਪਨੈ ਬਿੰਦੁ ਨ ਦੇਈ ਝਰਨਾ ॥
supanai bind n dēī jharanā .
He does not lose his semen, even in his dreams;
ਤਿਸੁ ਕਾਜੀ ਕਉ ਜਰਾ ਨ ਮਰਨਾ ॥੨॥
tis kājī kau jarā n maranā .2.
for such a Qazi, there is no old age or death. ||2||
ਸੋ ਸੁਰਤਾਨੁ ਜੁ ਦੁਇ ਸਰ ਤਾਨੈ ॥
sō suratān j dui sar tānai .
He alone is a sultan and a king, who shoots the two arrows,
ਬਾਹਰਿ ਜਾਤਾ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਆਨੈ ॥
bāhar jātā bhītar ānai .
gathers in his outgoing mind,
ਗਗਨ ਮੰਡਲ ਮਹਿ ਲਸਕਰੁ ਕਰੈ ॥
gagan mandal mah lasakar karai .
and assembles his army in the realm of the mind's sky, the Tenth Gate.
ਸੋ ਸੁਰਤਾਨੁ ਛਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਿਰਿ ਧਰੈ ॥੩॥
sō suratān shatr sir dharai .3.
The canopy of royalty waves over such a sultan. ||3||
ਜੋਗੀ ਗੋਰਖੁ ਗੋਰਖੁ ਕਰੈ ॥
jōgī gōrakh gōrakh karai .
The Yogi cries out, "Gorakh, Gorakh".
ਹਿੰਦੂ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਚਰੈ ॥
hindū rām nām ucharai .
The Hindu utters the Name of Raam.
ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਕਾ ਏਕੁ ਖੁਦਾਇ ॥
musalamān kā ēk khudāi .
The Muslim has only One God.
ਕਬੀਰ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥੩॥੧੧॥
kabīr kā suāmī rahiā samāi .4.3.11.
The Lord and Master of Kabeer is all-pervading. ||4||3||11||
ਸੋ ਮੁਲਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਨ ਸਿਉ ਲਰੈ ॥
sō mulānh jō man siu larai .
He alone is a Mullah, who struggles with his mind,
ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਕਾਲ ਸਿਉ ਜੁਰੈ ॥
gur upadēs kāl siu jurai .
and through the Guru's Teachings, fights with death.
ਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾ ਮਰਦੈ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
kāl purakh kā maradai mān .
He crushes the pride of the Messenger of Death.
ਤਿਸੁ ਮੁਲਾ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਮੁ ॥੧॥
tis mulā kau sadā salām .1.
Unto that Mullah, I ever offer greetings of respect. ||1||
