ਗੰਗਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਲਿਤਾ ਬਿਗਰੀ ॥ ਸੋ ਸਲਿਤਾ ਗੰਗਾ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬਰੀ ॥੧॥
gangā kai sang salitā bigarī . sō salitā gangā hōi nibarī .1.
When the stream flows into the Ganges, then it becomes the Ganges. ||1||
ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਦੁਹਾਈ ॥
bigariō kabīrā rām duhāī .
Just so, Kabeer has changed.
ਸਾਚੁ ਭਇਓ ਅਨ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sāch bhaiō an katah n jāī .1. rahāu .
He has become the Embodiment of Truth, and he does not go anywhere else. ||1||Pause||
ਚੰਦਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਰਵਰੁ ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ॥
chandan kai sang taravar bigariō .
Associating with the sandalwood tree, the tree nearby is changed;
ਸੋ ਤਰਵਰੁ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬਰਿਓ ॥੨॥
sō taravar chandan hōi nibariō .2.
that tree begins to smell just like the sandalwood tree. ||2||
ਪਾਰਸ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਾਂਬਾ ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ॥
pāras kai sang tānhbā bigariō .
Coming into contact with the philosophers' stone, copper is transformed;
ਸੋ ਤਾਂਬਾ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬਰਿਓ ॥੩॥
sō tānhbā kanchan hōi nibariō .3.
that copper is transformed into gold. ||3||
ਸੰਤਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ॥
santan sang kabīrā bigariō .
In the Society of the Saints, Kabeer is transformed;
ਸੋ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਰਾਮੈ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬਰਿਓ ॥੪॥੫॥
sō kabīr rāmai hōi nibariō .4.5.
that Kabeer is transformed into the Lord. ||4||5||
