ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
guramukh japiō har kā nāu .
As Gurmukh, I chant the Name of the Lord.
ਬਿਸਰੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਨਾਮਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
bisarī chint nām rang lāgā .
My anxiety is gone, and I am in love with the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਇਆ ਜਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
janam janam kā sōiā jāgā .1.
I was asleep for countless lifetimes, but I have now awakened. ||1||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪਨੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਏ ॥
kar kirapā apanī sēvā lāē .
Granting His Grace, He has linked me to His service.
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sādhū sang sarab sukh pāē .1. rahāu .
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, all pleasures are found. ||1||Pause||
ਰੋਗ ਦੋਖ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥
rōg dōkh gur sabad nivārē .
The Word of the Guru's Shabad has eradicated disease and evil.
ਨਾਮ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਾਰੇ ॥
nām aukhadh man bhītar sārē .
My mind has absorbed the medicine of the Naam.
ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟਤ ਮਨਿ ਭਇਆ ਅਨੰਦ ॥
gur bhētat man bhaiā anand .
Meeting with the Guru, my mind is in bliss.
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਾਮ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੨॥
sarab nidhān nām bhagavant .2.
All treasures are in the Name of the Lord God. ||2||
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੀ ਮਿਟੀ ਜਮ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ॥
janam maran kī mitī jam trās .
My fear of birth and death and the Messenger of Death has been dispelled.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਊਂਧ ਕਮਲ ਬਿਗਾਸ ॥
sādhasangat ūnhdh kamal bigās .
In the Saadh Sangat, the inverted lotus of my heart has blossomed forth.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ॥
gun gāvat nihachal bisrām .
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I have found eternal, abiding peace.
ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਕਾਮ ॥੩॥
pūran hōē sagalē kām .3.
All my tasks are perfectly accomplished. ||3||
ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਆਈ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
dulabh dēh āī paravān .
This human body, so difficult to obtain, is approved by the Lord.
ਸਫਲ ਹੋਈ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
saphal hōī jap har har nām .
Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, it has become fruitful.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੀ ॥
kah nānak prabh kirapā karī .
Says Nanak, God has blessed me with His Mercy.
ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਜਪਉ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੀ ॥੪॥੨੯॥੪੨॥
sās girās japau har harī .4.29.42.
With every breath and morsel of food, I meditate on the Lord, Har, Har. ||4||29||42||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
bhairau mahalā 5 .

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਤਿਆਗਿਓ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ॥
gur mil tiāgiō dūjā bhāu .
Meeting with the Guru, I have forsaken the love of duality.
