ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਹਮਰਾ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਪਾਸਾ ॥
dukh sukh hamarā tis hī pāsā .
I place my pain and pleasure before Him.
ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਨੋ ਸਭੁ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਪੜਦਾ ॥
rākh līnō sabh jan kā paradā .
He covers the faults of His humble servant.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੯॥੩੨॥
nānak tis kī usatat karadā .4.19.32.
Nanak sings His Praises. ||4||19||32||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Bhairao, Fifth Mehl:
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਦਰਬਾਰੁ ॥
sabh tē ūch jā kā darabār .
His Regal Court is the highest of all.
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜੋਹਾਰੁ ॥
sadā sadā tā kau jōhār .
I humbly bow to Him, forever and ever.
ਊਚੇ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਥਾਨ ॥
ūchē tē ūchā jā kā thān .
His place is the highest of the high.
ਕੋਟਿ ਅਘਾ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥੧॥
kōt aghā mitah har nām .1.
Millions of sins are erased by the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਤਿਸੁ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
tis saranāī sadā sukh hōi .
In His Sanctuary, we find eternal peace.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਮੇਲੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kar kirapā jā kau mēlai sōi .1. rahāu .
He Mercifully unites us with Himself. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਕਰਤਬ ਲਖੇ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
jā kē karatab lakhē n jāh .
His wondrous actions cannot even be described.
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
jā kā bharavāsā sabh ghat māh .
All hearts rest their faith and hope in Him.
ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਇਆ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
pragat bhaiā sādhū kai sang .
He is manifest in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਭਗਤ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੨॥
bhagat arādhah anadin rang .2.
The devotees lovingly worship and adore Him night and day. ||2||
ਦੇਦੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਨਹੀ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
dēdē tōt nahī bhandār .
He gives, but His treasures are never exhausted.
ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰ ॥
khin mah thāp uthāpanahār .
In an instant, He establishes and disestablishes.
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਮੇਟੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
jā kā hukam n mētai kōi .
No one can erase the Hukam of His Command.
ਸਿਰਿ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥
sir pātisāhā sāchā sōi .3.
The True Lord is above the heads of kings. ||3||
ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਤਿਸੈ ਕੀ ਆਸਾ ॥
jis kī ōt tisai kī āsā .
He is my Anchor and Support; I place my hopes in Him.
