ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥
tis jan kē sabh kāj savār .
- all His affairs are resolved.
ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਇ ॥
tis kā rākhā ēkō sōi .
The One Lord is his Protector.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਪੜਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੭॥
jan nānak apar n sākai kōi .4.4.17.
O servant Nanak, no one can equal him. ||4||4||17||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
bhairau mahalā 5 .
Bhairao, Fifth Mehl:
ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਉਨੁ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
jis tū rākhah tis kaun mārai .
Who can kill that person whom You protect, O Lord?
ਸਭ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰੈ ॥
sabh tujh hī antar sagal sansārai .
All beings, and the entire universe, is within You.
ਕੋਟਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਚਿਤਵਤ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥
kōt upāv chitavat hai prānī .
The mortal thinks up millions of plans,
ਸੋ ਹੋਵੈ ਜਿ ਕਰੈ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਣੀ ॥੧॥
sō hōvai j karai chōj vidānī .1.
but that alone happens, which the Lord of wondrous plays does. ||1||
ਰਾਖਹੁ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
rākhah rākhah kirapā dhār .
Save me, save me, O Lord; shower me with Your Mercy.
ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਦਰਵਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tērī saran tērai daravār .1. rahāu .
I seek Your Sanctuary, and Your Court. ||1||Pause||
ਜਿਨਿ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ॥
jin sēviā nirabhau sukhadātā .
Whoever serves the Fearless Lord, the Giver of Peace,
ਤਿਨਿ ਭਉ ਦੂਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਏਕੁ ਪਰਾਤਾ ॥
tin bhau dūr kīā ēk parātā .
is rid of all his fears; he knows the One Lord.
ਜੋ ਤੂ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਫੁਨਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
jō tū karah sōī phun hōi .
Whatever You do, that alone comes to pass in the end.
ਮਾਰੈ ਨ ਰਾਖੈ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਇ ॥੨॥
mārai n rākhai dūjā kōi .2.
There is no other who can kill or protect us. ||2||
ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਸੋਚਹਿ ਮਾਣਸ ਬਾਣਿ ॥
kiā tū sōchah mānas bān .
What do you think, with your human understanding?
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ॥
antarajāmī purakh sujān .
The All-knowing Lord is the Searcher of Hearts.
ਏਕ ਟੇਕ ਏਕੋ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
ēk tēk ēkō ādhār .
The One and only Lord is my Support and Protection.
ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
sabh kish jānai sirajanahār .3.
The Creator Lord knows everything. ||3||
ਜਿਸੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ॥
jis ūpar nadar karē karatār .
That person who is blessed by the Creator's Glance of Grace
