ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ॥
giān anjan satigur tē hōi .
The ointment of spiritual wisdom is obtained from the True Guru.
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਤਿਹੁ ਲੋਇ ॥੩॥
rām nām rav rahiā tih lōi .3.
The Lord's Name is pervading the three worlds. ||3||
ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਏਕੁ ਹੋਰ ਰੁਤਿ ਨ ਕਾਈ ॥
kalijug mah har jīu ēk hōr rut n kāī .
In Kali Yuga, it is the time for the One Dear Lord; it is not the time for anything else.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੇਹੁ ਜਮਾਈ ॥੪॥੧੦॥
nānak guramukh hiradai rām nām lēh jamāī .4.10.
O Nanak, as Gurmukh, let the Lord's Name grow within your heart. ||4||10||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥
bhairau mahalā 3 .
Bhairao, Third Mehl:
ਕਲਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਬਹੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥
kalajug mah bah karam kamāh .
In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, many rituals are performed.
ਨਾ ਰੁਤਿ ਨ ਕਰਮ ਥਾਇ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
nā rut n karam thāi pāh .1.
But it is not the time for them, and so they are of no use. ||1||
ਕਲਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
kalajug mah rām nām hai sār .
In Kali Yuga, the Lord's Name is the most sublime.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
guramukh sāchā lagai piār .1. rahāu .
As Gurmukh, be lovingly attached to Truth. ||1||Pause||
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਖੋਜਿ ਘਰੈ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
tan man khōj gharai mah pāiā .
Searching my body and mind, I found Him within the home of my own heart.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
guramukh rām nām chit lāiā .2.
The Gurmukh centers his consciousness on the Lord's Name. ||2||
