Bhairao, Third Mehl:
ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥
gōvind prīt sanakādik udhārē .
Love of the Lord of the Universe saved Sanak and his brother, the sons of Brahma.
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
rām nām sabad bīchārē .1.
They contemplated the Word of the Shabad, and the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੁ ॥
har jīu apanī kirapā dhār .
O Dear Lord, please shower me with Your Mercy,
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੇ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
guramukh nāmē lagai piār .1. rahāu .
that as Gurmukh, I may embrace love for Your Name. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਸਾਚੀ ਹੋਇ ॥
antar prīt bhagat sāchī hōi .
Whoever has true loving devotional worship deep within his being
ਪੂਰੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥
pūrai gur mēlāvā hōi .2.
meets the Lord, through the Perfect Guru. ||2||
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥
nij ghar vasai sahaj subhāi .
He naturally, intuitively dwells within the home of his own inner being.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੩॥
guramukh nām vasai man āi .3.
The Naam abides within the mind of the Gurmukh. ||3||
ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖੈ ਵੇਖਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
āpē vēkhai vēkhanahār .
The Lord, the Seer, Himself sees.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਖਹੁ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੮॥
nānak nām rakhah ur dhār .4.8.
O Nanak, enshrine the Naam within your heart. ||4||8||
