ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik ōunkār satigur prasād .
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਮਾਈ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੀ ॥
māī santasang jāgī .
O mother, I have awakened in the Society of the Saints.
ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗ ਦੇਖੈ ਜਪਤੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
pri rang dēkhai japatī nām nidhānī . rahāu .
Seeing the Love of my Beloved, I chant His Name, the greatest treasure||Pause||
ਦਰਸਨ ਪਿਆਸ ਲੋਚਨ ਤਾਰ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
darasan piās lōchan tār lāgī .
I am so thirsty for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. my eyes are focused on Him;
ਬਿਸਰੀ ਤਿਆਸ ਬਿਡਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
bisarī tiās bidānī .1.
I have forgotten other thirsts. ||1||
ਅਬ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਹੈ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਖਦਾਇਕ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪੇਖਤ ਮਨੁ ਲਪਟਾਨੀ ॥
ab gur pāiō hai sahaj sukhadāik darasan pēkhat man lapatānī .
Now, I have found my Peace-giving Guru with ease; seeing His Darshan, my mind clings to Him.
ਦੇਖਿ ਦਮੋਦਰ ਰਹਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੧॥
dēkh damōdar rahas man upajiō nānak pri anmrit bānī .2.1.
Seeing my Lord, joy has welled up in my mind; O Nanak, the speech of my Beloved is so sweet! ||2||1||
