ਤੁਧੁ ਥਾਪੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਜੁਗ ਤੂ ਕਰਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਧਰਣ ॥
tudh thāpē chārē jug tū karatā sagal dharan .
You established the four ages; You are the Creator of all worlds.
ਤੁਧੁ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਕੀਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਲੇਪੁ ਨ ਲਗੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ॥
tudh āvan jānā kīā tudh lēp n lagai trin .
You created the comings and goings of reincarnation; not even a particle of filth sticks to You.
ਜਿਸੁ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਲਾਵਹਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਣ ॥
jis hōvah āp daiāl tis lāvah satigur charan .
As you are merciful, You attach us to the Feet of the True Guru.
ਤੂ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਉਪਾਇ ਨ ਲਭਹੀ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਰਣ ॥੨॥
tū hōrat upāi n labhahī abināsī srisat karan .2.
You cannot be found by any other efforts; You are the eternal, imperishable Creator of the Universe. ||2||

Dakhanay, Fifth Mehl:
ਜੇ ਤੂ ਮਿਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਸਾਡੜਾ ਹਿਕ ਭੋਰੀ ਨਾ ਵੇਛੋੜਿ ॥
jē tū mitr asādarā hik bhōrī nā vēshōr .
If You are my friend, then don't separate Yourself from me, even for an instant.
ਜੀਉ ਮਹਿੰਜਾ ਤਉ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਕਦਿ ਪਸੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਤੋਹਿ ॥੧॥
jīu mahinjā tau mōhiā kad pasī jānī tōh .1.
My soul is fascinated and enticed by You; when will I see You, O my Love? ||1||

ਦੁਰਜਨ ਤੂ ਜਲੁ ਭਾਹੜੀ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
durajan tū jal bhāharī vishōrē mar jāh .
Burn in the fire, you evil person; O separation, be dead.
ਕੰਤਾ ਤੂ ਸਉ ਸੇਜੜੀ ਮੈਡਾ ਹਭੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਉਲਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
kantā tū sau sējarī maidā habhō dukh ulāh .2.
O my Husband Lord, please sleep upon my bed, that all my sufferings may be gone. ||2||

Fifth Mehl:
ਦੁਰਜਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਹੈ ਵੇਛੋੜਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ॥
durajan dūjā bhāu hai vēshōrā haumai rōg .
The evil person is engrossed in the love of duality; through the disease of egotism, he suffers separation.
ਸਜਣੁ ਸਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੀਚੈ ਭੋਗੁ ॥੩॥
sajan sachā pātisāh jis mil kīchai bhōg .3.
The True Lord King is my friend; meeting with Him, I am so happy. ||3||

ਤੂ ਅਗਮ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੈ ਕਉਣੁ ॥
tū agam daiāl bēant tērī kīmat kahai kaun .
You are inaccessible, merciful and infinite; who can estimate Your worth?
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਤੂ ਨਾਇਕੁ ਸਗਲ ਭਉਣ ॥
tudh sirajiā sabh sansār tū nāik sagal bhaun .
You created the entire universe; You are the Master of all the worlds.
ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਗਲ ਰਉਣ ॥
tērī kudarat kōi n jānai mērē thākur sagal raun .
No one knows Your creative power, O my all-pervading Lord and Master.
ਤੁਧੁ ਅਪੜਿ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਤੂ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਜਗ ਉਧਰਣ ॥
tudh apar kōi n sakai tū abināsī jag udharan .
No one can equal You; You are imperishable and eternal, the Savior of the world.
